OOPS!!!) My gravity sensor has performed flawlessly thus far. Using it is somewhat cointerintuitive. You can confuse it by activating the sensor while reading the screen (mod horizontal). The sensor works perfectly everytime when activated with the mod vertical like it was standing up as to not drain a genni style tank.

My gravity sensor is spot on as well. Woke up at 4AM this morning and couldn't fall back asleep. Figured I'd use the time to update the SX Mini firmware. Took all of 30 seconds as I had the software loaded on my PC from the IPV 2S update.
Now I just have to go through the product guide. Yihi said they don't have a PDF version and didn't mention plans to create one.

nice, the only function of the gravity sensor is to basically read the screen while laying on either side right?
You also use the gravity sensor to make menu selections. The up and down buttons aren't active while you have the menu up.

Ok so it doesn't look bad, but its not really ideal .. I took pics with and without the beauty ring. The biggest thing is how much length the beauty rings adds to the set up, so you all look at the pics and decide how you like it For me, the Subtank is going have its home on the SX Zero.

i have been vaping my sx mini with 2 subtanks. tank one has the pre-made coil and deck two has thrta deck with a.55 double twisted coil and kogendo cotton. i have switched back and forth(until my second sx arrives) trying to figure out which side i prefer. this is an amazing combination and i really can't decide which deck is better. the pre-made coil side is wonderful-all the flavor of a homemade coil without any of the hassle. kanger really nailed this coil and it puts the atlantis to shame.....not even close. the rta side is as wonderful with all the possibilities that deck provides. a snap to install and those small juice holes that worried pbusardo so much have caused no problems at all. the sx mini really shines with a tank like this-so many different ways to configure it and exploring each one is simple and enjoyable. i can't imagine how i went so long without a device as good as this and i know i will never be without from now on. what a nice end to 2014- getting the mod(s) of my dreams and getting the tank to top it off. can't wait to see what yihi comes up with in the new year but i know i will be closely watching. and with folks like retrox helping me enjoy every minute of it.....
I really like the subtank on the sx mini. Just picked one up today. It's ironic how I left my pro tanks for the Russian 91 and putting the Russian 91 down for the subtank. Using the 1.2 coil with 18 watts on the lowest af setting. I'm not big on doing lung hits, it defeats the purpose of saving money as opposed to analogs. Plus I love my premium flavors.

hey retrox- why do some of the sx minis have the name printed on them and some don't? is the latest version with the name or without it? mine doesn't have the name and i prefer that clean look. hope that is the way they are coming now.... another person who loves the device. funny, i know there is a big debate between this mod and the dna40 mods. people can choose their side but my totally un-scientific tally shows this- a lot of people prefer the dna40 devices and what they bring to the table but there are lot more people throwing in the word "love" when they are talking about the sx mini. it is almost clinical when they choose the dna40 but it it is passionate when picking the sx mini. i'll take the passion every time- it may just be a device but i love my sx mini so count me among the passionate....

I can't help it, I have a deep love for form, shape, symmetry, and aesthetics, so I am quite concerned with which atties and mods should be paired together. You will thank me and Mike once you get it and see how utterly sexy that set up is ETA: this video made me laugh so much ... he's in love

I am not retrox but the early batches of the SXmini were produced without the logo on the body, and was added I believe with the v1.3 firmware upgrade. Initially I was disappointed that the logo was added, I was also a fan of the logoless version, but ... I don't feel like the logo disrupts the overall aesthetic so I am ok with it.
I am vaping the .5 OCC coil right now, I can't believe how this atty is performing. The flavor was so full and prominent from the first draw .. the air flow is also way more than I thought it would be and I only have one air hole open.

The fact is the people saying the DNA is the clear winner or is much better havent even seen a Mini in real life let alone touched one. I think every person ive seen who owns a DNA40 of any kind and bought a SX Mini, has still come out and said its the nicest device theyve seen. Ive seen a number say their DNA40s arent really getting used as much anymore.
The 40 obviously has TC going for it, so if someone wants TC then the DNA40 is the clear winner, but in every other category...its just easy.
