Hope so! Missed out on the Flask so many times but have been reading about a lot of people having problems with them. Having bought the Sig 100w i am not a fan of the square box, although it works like a champ. Really like the looks of the ZNA but it's impossible to get the real deal. Then i stumbled upon this mod (and thread!) about an hour ago and bazinga! here i am. Just hope i'm not put off by the one button busy option setup this comes with.

The SXmini is not a one button menu system, your thinking of the other SX 350 chip ;-)

I have a question about the SXMini that I hope some of you can answer.

Is it ok to vape on this mod while it is being charged with the onboard charger?

The reason I ask is that I spend about one half of a day at a local vape shop 2 or 3 times a week and I don't want to have to carry spare batteries with me if I don't have to. I have a 7000mah power pack(about the size of a cell phone) that has a 5 volt/1amp output that I can use to charge my SXMini. This power pack is made to charge cell phones, etc.
If it is ok to vape while charging, I can just plug my mod to the power pack when my battery starts to run down.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that this mod, when in bypass mode, put out up to 85 watts while on a charger???????

You *can* but YiHi says not to, so its probably safe not to do it, or if you are going to do it, only at low wattage.

Varitube says its ok to charge and vape, I do it allot but the highest I normally vape is 40 watts.

Thanks,
I normally stay 40 watts or below also.
I think to be safe I will just change my batteries if needed instead of charging onboard. Or carry another mod, so I can charge the SXMini while it is "resting".

Did everyone see the new post in the General discussion?

Apparently, YiHi has just acknowledged that all units that have been shipped so far are ALL defective. That the adjustable pin of the 510 is actually soldered in to the unit and adjusting it will cause the 510 to snap. While most of us will never have a need to adjust this, what troubles me about the post is that they claim YiHi refuses to honor their warranty on this. Which as the OP posted is quite troubling for such a high-end expensive device and what-if something more serious goes wrong. Sounds like you will basically be buying this unit and cross your fingers that nothing ever goes wrong.

Going by this pic, the 510 pin is spring-loaded, and quite beefy looking to boot.. ;) :)

Sneak preview for retrox ;)
Will do my show and tell when I have light in the morning.

btw, I couldn't quite find the post, but what happened to Zero's SX Mini? Why did he take it apart, I heard he did something that voided the warranty, I'm not too sure.

He chose to, out of curiousty. I think it was something having to do with the cap that broke during disassembly, I dont remember if it was the 510..I really dont remember lol.

I just searched for YiHi and SX Mini in the search and can only find the thread I linked, which is one guy with nothing about YiHi admitting theyre all defective and not covering warranty...so not sure what thread hes talking about.
