rounding third and heading home...
Ha! I actually went back and forth for like 3 hours after buying my Goblin, debating if I should have bought the Silverplay.
And thats a whole lotta Subtanks, my first still isnt even here yet
well, like most vapors , i am impulsive-when i find something that works well for me i go ahead and load up. i my defense, i also give away a lot of gear to new vapors and friends . i do think it is important for vapors to pass along tips , recommendations , and gear that works. a lot of new vapors get frustrated when up against faulty or poorly designed equipment- it is up to us to make sure they don't get frustrated and return to smoking. the more vapors the better.
while i like the subtanks, i am always open to new designs and technology- the sx mini is certainly a new piece of gear which should be told to as many people as possible- it works, works well, and makes vaping so much more enjoyable. now who wouldn't want that?
while i am waiting on the silverplay i have talked myself into the Aeolus RDA- looks too good to pass up. will report on both when i have vaped both. that Aeolus looks to be one of the most promising designs i have seen in quite awhile. different isn't always better but it just might be in this case. we shall see......

Yeah I'm lovin' this, just did a 24g 10wrap on 2.5mm, I love this thing. It's normal for not all attys to sit flush right? I seem to have a 1mm gap, I think I saw that on here.

I had that earlier when I was test fitting my Subtank. I took the battery out and then reseated the tank, then put the battery in and it went away.

I can't get the sxi usb driver to install on my win 7 ult x64 machine.
even when trying a manual driver install - it says wrong driver or no driver found.. any ideas?
I searched the whole folder for a driver..
At first I just downloaded the driver program from the website and did a standard install..
when I plug the mini in - winblows does recognize a usb device
I want to play with the logo maker package it comes with..

Me too. I've been unable to locate a driver in that download package or an executable file in the SXMini software program download.

I found a thread that linked this:

Authentic YiHi SX350 60W Chip!

You need the YiHi Upgrade Install Program.

After you run the installer (use defaults) open the program and on the first icon is an Install Driver button.

Use the link ONLY for the program - DO NOT download the firmware files in that link.

EDIT - I haven't found a way to change the icon yet, I read that it was coming in the next update, but don't think it's on the V1.3.1 I have. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

PS - connect to PC with the battery out.

don't forget to put the sxmini in Link mode, to be recognized by the software..

In my experience, link mode didn't do anything except shut my device off.

The SXmini can be connected to your PC without a battery. Using LINK mode would require the battery to be installed in the device (and I ran into problems mentioned above). That was just my personal experience.

Any idea on the next firmware that will allow us to change the logo?

The Windows driver is installed through the SXI software.

Download, extract, and install the software:
http://www.yihisxmini.com/download/Yihiecigar-SXi-Setup-20140808.rar

Run the Yihi SXi program, click the Connect icon, and select Install Driver. Worked like a champ for me. Didn't fool with link mode, just pulled the battery. I'm currently at FW version 1.3.1 so no need to upgrade yet.
