i hope no one equates the quality of the sx mini with a chrysler- worse darn car i ever owned .please pick a better marketing partner or i may have to re-think my purchases..... i wish i were kidding....
Speaking of that.... You wouldn't put 87 octane in your new Ferrari right? Yesterday I became a believer of the "hype". Finally tried some Koh Gen Do cotton. WOW! Haven't had a dry hit yet and the flavor is now intense! I'm sure its been mentioned all over here before, but in case someone missed it, run don't walk to pick up a few pads. You can find them on eBay for like 0.40 - 0.60 a pad (which will make like 20+ wicks each), a good B&M or probably somewhere like Sephora.

I am somewhat confused S & M class surely a lack of imagination shouldn't it be a Mercedes ;)
Hahahaha. But then they messed up.... the "S" class should be the higher end model.

Ok...I'm ordering one of these Monday. What's the deal with the TC? Is that an upgrade in the future via the USB port? Thinking about putting a Lemo on it too!!

Just my $0.02, but I surely doubt they will do this. As @bonmatos mentions, vacation, new production, chips that have been announced since November but not released, etc.... Their focus will be on the future rather then the past. And as @Technonut mentions, even if they did/could, it would be based on a mathematical formula and not true temperature control.

I'd expect the S class to either be phased out completely (probable), or a nice price reduction (doubtful) once the M class is released. With MAP pricing the same for both units, who'd buy the S class? Not much different then other items in the electronic industry and being an early adapter.

That said, I wouldn't wait for a S if i didn't have an M already. Most of us will never or hardly use the temp control feature anyway.

Most may also not require having to tilt a device to change settings or have a joule reading that in the current version seems to be of no real value.
Even if you don't use or care for temp control at $10 more it makes the mod over all a better buy. Especially with people saying the current version is worth double other good mods.
Still the mod does read good , though hard to rely on user reviews when most people gush over every mod that comes out.

I hope they up the QC on the cosmetic components of the M version. I don't like seeing minor scuffs on a brand new device this price range. I know the unit is cheap by comparison to others with the same level of technology. All my gear is in pristine condition. I see some very minor flaws in my mini from day one. Probably wouldn't bother most but I guess it's the OCD and shineyitis working together.

I asked Yihi to offer free tube for the "M Class", this will justify deference in price between 2 model S and M.

I think they'll do it, and you can operate the SXmini M Class to 120W :)

Not trying being a smartass, but I assumed the added features, updated look, and TC was what made it worth the extra $10. Why do you think they're gonna throw you the tube for free?

By all means, if you or I or anyone can get a free tube from them along with the mod that'd be awesome and I'd give it a shot. Did you email them and ask them if they'd be willing to throw one in or something?

Chryslers have been the best cars I've ever owned :). Been driving Dodge Rams for the past 22 years.

Quick question.. Can you overcharge the batteries with this mod? Usually I plug it in and go to sleep with it on my dresser. Does it automatically shut off charging when the battery is at 4.2? I can't find any information on this anywhere.

Ty in advance.

It will stop charging @ 4.20v.. YiHi is supposed to be working on including some kind of completed charge indicator in the next firmware upgrade.

Personally, I look at the small charging boards used in these mods as an occasional convenience.. Not something done on a regular basis. That's best left to my dedicated XTAR VP1, which offers an appropriate charging algorithm, and safety features. ;)
