I see nothing worth bashing, Zero - just the opposite in fact. And Nic, nice recovery. Good potential info too.

I'm pleased with the mod so far. I have a favorite that nothing will ever top, but I'm a low wattage vaper so its 34w is plenty for me. But I really like this Mini a lot, and am using it a lot.

Like I said previously, there's nothing that a nice wrap won't fix. I don't buy mods for the aesthetic value. For those who do, I wouldn't recommend this one.

But if form & performance steer your boat, this one's way up on the charts.

How does your mini stack up compared to your Provari ?

I love them both. A lot. The build quality certainly appears to be on a similar level, and I'm hoping it holds up as well as the Provi (family) has. I'd have to say that each has advantages and disadvantages when compared to the other, and I reach for both, depending on my purpose at the time.

I'm not sure that I can really say that I have a "least favorite" mod. If I've kept it, I like it. Even the IPV Mini is one that I like (except for that stupid up+down combination that you've got to be REALLY CAREFUL with).

Bottom line? I'm really glad that I got the SX Mini. I use it every day, and am fairly certain that will continue for a long time to come.

Agreed. I've become smitten by my SX Mini. Once I can confirm that the temp control is functional I will buy the M.
I wish that Provape would do something to compete in this rapidly changing industry. With all the new technology my vaping habits have changed. I have 4 Provari's but don't really use them much anymore. Even the P3 is lacking for me now. I find vaping at 25-30 watts on 1 ohm build more enjoyable than the 1.4-1.6 that work well with the Provari.
Hats off to YIHIECIAGAR!!!

your post is right on-i always thought about getting a provari. people can and have argued about provari for as long as i can remember. i never could will myself to actually get one. i thought with the new one i might actually breakdown and get one- until i got my sx mini. now i have 2 sx minis and don't even think about provari anymore. i think they lost me and quite a few others with the 20 watt limit on their device. they can talk about safety and anything else but once i vaped at higher watts with the new subohm atomizers on a quality mod such as the sx mini i knew i would never go back to provari way of vaping. my e-liquid tastes so much better with the sx mini it was a revelation about how good it could actually be.provari has their fans and that is just fine-they make a quality product and i won't bash them for it-i just know that that way of vaping is no longer for me. yihi has certainly opened up my vaping experience and i am more than happy to go along for the ride.

good news! after getting in touch with the nice folks at yihi they have corrected their mistake and have dispatched the correct extension tubes for my sx minis. everyone makes mistakes and it is good to know that yihi recognized and fixed theirs in a timely and courteous manner. so pretty soon i will have my extension tubes and will post pics and report on the 120 watt vaping with the sx mini. once i get passed the look of it i bet it will be as fantastic as it is with the one battery now. just waiting....

How much did you end up paying for the tubes with shipping, if you don't mind me asking?

$19.95 each plus shipping-not cheap but i wanted them and so price didn't bother me. it turns out it was the only way to get them where i live....apparently. no dealers carry them in the U.S.

edit-DHL tracking shows a monday delivery-sure hope the order is correct this time!!does anyone have the extension tube for the sx mini? if you do, can you post any comments about it. someone somewhere must have one and i would love to hear about it. yes, a lot of people slam the lokk of it but i am more interested in hearing about it's use in real vaping, not posing for a photo op. since yhere is no indication that yihi is coming out with a dual battery mod anytime soon, the extension tube is the only way to experience the full capabilities of the sx mini. i get that most don't need or want the 120 watts it is capable of reaching but i would have thought that more people would have shown an interest than i have seen here in this thread. besides the looks, is there something i am missing? why so little interest?

And conversely, me. One of the things I'm happiest about is that my vaping habits haven't changed at all. I remain perfectly satisfied at low power, making absolutely everything available for/to me.

That's one of the coolest aspects of vaping for me. Pretty much everyone can be covered.

With toppers & charged for me right now are:

4 Provi's *
2 EPM's
2 Billet Boxes
1 SX Mini
1 Solara
1 IPV Mini

* All are V2/2,5's. I thought long and hard but saw no value in a P3 (for me). And experiencing the Powerful mode with the SX Mini confirmed that my assumptions were correct. I don't see a P3 in my future, but I do expect to be using the older versions for as long as I vape. Or as long as they last, whichever goes first.

And I know with 100% certainty that the next thing I reach for, whichever option it is, will provide me with an absolutely satisfying and enjoyable vape.

As previously indicated, I feel quite fortunate.

And now that it's Friday, even more so. Enjoy your vapes, everyone - and I'm continuing to watch The Tubing Adventures, more for the curiosity than anything else. I hope it all works itself out, obviously.

Just received shipping confirmation on the M Class from Varitube... :) I'll be posting my findings regarding the temp-protection in the Temperature Control forum when it arrives..

Sooooo jelly!!!

I haven't got my confirmation yet but I only pre-ordered 5 or 6 weeks ago. I did order the standard silver & grey so hopefully I'll be in the first batch of preorders from varitube to ship.

Now I just gotta practice some nickel coil builds on my Erlkonigin! :)

BTW, has anyone confirmed if Titanium will work with TC on the SX M class? I know it was designed for Ni200, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried an early release or pre-production model with Ti???
