Ok, I'm feeling a bit silly. Does anyone have an "exploded-view" of the Tilemahos Armed Eagles 23mm with all the O-rings on it how it came shipped?

Last night I finally got around to taking it all apart and cleaning it. I took photos and laid each part on a piece of paper and took the O-rings off placing them next to the piece. After I cleaned it all nice and good I put it back together but there was an extra O-ring I couldn't figure out where the heck it went! I've been watching videos and looking at pictures and it seems to all be correct... but still there is a spare O-ring! It seems to fit nicely on the bottom base (with the air holes) but I know from looking at pictures that this piece does not have an O-ring, and it didn't come shipped with it. It is smaller than the O-rings that go with the glass and body pieces. It's about the same diameter as the red O-ring in the cap, except black and thinner.

Is there a doubled-up O-ring or something I missed?

So now I'm a little confused because I thought I documented where everything went very well but apparently not!

Also, I'm sure I must've done something wrong because the center pin seems to be flush with the bottom 510 hole.. even a little bit short so I don't think the battery will touch it. Not sure what the heck I did! I've been looking at pictures and videos all night and can't seem to find where this extra O-ring should go... it's got me scratching my head and feeling a bit silly and frustrated!

Thanks guys!

Here is a photo of the "extra" black O-ring compared to the red cap O-ring for comparison.

I think I found my sweet spot with Zirconium.. 5 wraps of 0.40mm around 3mm bar.. so far so good. Still trying to find my sweet spot with the cotton on TAE.. I might be using a little too much but it's getting there!

Just curious, how many turns do you guys open your liquid control? I've been treating it the same as all the other GG atties I've had but seems like it wants to be opened a little bit more than usual - that might be because I'm using too much cotton, though.

Luckily it's so quick and easy to change coils and wicks! Love that so much.. no more waiting for the tank to dry or getting liquid everywhere! I'll swap the cotton out in a bit and see if that helps.

Little bit of a learning curve (obviously) but I'm loving this atty - thank Imeo!

Thanks, Imeo! One thing I'm still having a little learning curve on is this Cotton Bacon which I'm new to. I was using the cotton pads before.. my one gripe with the Cotton Bacon is tearing off a good size wick.. a lot of times it gets a little "lumpy" or isn't all nice straight cotton threads, if that makes sense? I usually try and roll it around to shape it, not too tight obviously but still... if it's not the perfect size it tufts up and starts pulling the cotton threads that aren't part of "the whole wick", you know?

Maybe I should use scissors to cut it instead of pulling it off with my fingers... they make it looks so much easier in the videos haha. Maybe it's just me!

I received the domed mouthpiece and the 1.0mm and 0.8mm pins yesterday.

There is a pretty big flavor difference with the domed mouthpiece compare to the one it came with. I bought the 2 pins because I am a MTL vaper, and the 1.2 that it came with was too light for me. When I tried the 1.0mm and 0.8mm, I thought I was going to have an aneurysm. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I felt like I was trying to suck cement through a straw. I ended up switching back to the 1.2mm.

I have to say that the domed mouthpiece in the TAE is absolutely gorgeous. It is truly a work of art, being able to see the GG wings through the glass. You've outdone yourself Imeo. Congratulations.

I felt the same even with the 2.0mm, cant imagine with the 0.8. [emoji15]

I like without pin at all but prefer the pin to keep the cotton on position. I’m settled with the 3.5mm

??? Has the chimney been engraved now?
As Ariel already stated, yes they have. It's only the domed chimneys though. I have the one with "EAGLE" engraved at the top. The combination of that, and being able to see the wings through the glass is amazing.

I was a little disappointed in the "chimney" that the TAE shipped with because it really felt like I lost a ton of flavor, when compared to the TA. The domed one really does bring back a lot of the flavor.

I have noticed that if the wick gets pushed too close to the air hole in the bottom, it will choke off some of the air flow. I had the 1.2mm pin in and I couldn't figure out why it was so tight. I took it apart and put it back together several times before I noticed that I had too much cotton that was blocking the air hole in the bottom.

I broke the glass in the process. That was super depressing because I don't remember even touching the glass. Fortunately, I had ordered a spare when I purchased my TAE. I should have ordered a lot of spares since the clear glass spares were sold out the last time I checked. I would buy some of the colored ones, but I would be afraid of not being able to see the wings on the chimney.
