Hi All,

Long time member and follower, first time poster...

Does anybody have a similar problem with the Eagle described below?

Resistance values (and initial temp values) are almost all the time higher than expected when the atty is first installed on the mod. As an example, the mod reads 0.23-0.24 ohms even after 3-4 calibrations, while the same coil shows 0.16-0.17 ohm on Armed (which is the value that should be). This is completely ruining the vaping quality because the temperature calculation is completely wrong in this case. Plus, there is no stability in the resistance reading. Sometimes it goes up to 0.42 ohms, while not vaping and even after the coil is cooled down. Any similar experience? Or any ideas? Anything would be appreciated...

Setup: Armed Eagle on Dani25, NiFe30 27GA, 7/8 wraps on 2.5 mm diameter, spaced coil.

It's been quite some time, I have had the TAE and I use it everyday. I have been trying different RTA's and RDTA's for a while as well and must say some are very good. I have had one of my screws on the negative posts, of my TAE just spin loosely and unable to tighten, but I just wrap my wire the opposite way and use the other screw and all is good. Was building a 3mm inner diameter coil since the beginning but felt the flavor was not up to par at about .3 to .4 ohms at about 20 to 30 watts using a rayon wick compared to what I have been trying. Frustrated that parts are sometimes hard to get and shipping cost and duty to much I have been trying anything to bring the flavor back. Different coils, wick lots of juice etc. But just going back to basic's I have built a 24 awg kanthal coil .45 ohms at 2.5mm and I cant believe the difference in flavor and very happy again. Lots of flavor and a smooth vape TAE is the best but a different way to secure the wires is what I am waiting for. Thanks Adam

I totally agree. Imeo, best atomizer needs better posts. Our eagles need a new pair of shoes! XD
Adding a couple of lids on each side of the post around the screw to clamp the wire like the ares has would help. Or give it another perspective and add a completely different post design. Maybe a postless one or some of those insert-through-the-top posts like the siren two or insert-through-the-side like the serpent smm. Or maybe all of them and let the people buy the ones they like, TAE has the power to do that!

Watch this guy's video at 12.10 min, how to properly wick TAE. Video has English subtitles. This is a very critical point. He is emphasizing and showing how to cover the holes on liquid control ring with cotton. Once you do that TAE is not leaking, not gurgling, very smooth and quiet vape, not flooding, awesome flavor. I use 70/30 and I have the liquid control fully open with no problem on both of my TAE's, 25 and 23 mm.

TAE has Juice Control. And as with any atty with JC it doesn't leak, or flood in any case. The control is already in the user's hands. Imo, the TAE is a fool-proof and noob-friendly atty. One has to seriously bend backwards to let this atty fail. By itself it will not. Yep, love this atty!

Of course ! if you bought all the required parts, it will work as fine as a pre assembled one.

Every store has its own kit to give the ability to make coil buddy. Mist vape gives the brass ring. Fabvape gives the 3d printed base. pipeline, GG store and bitfumo gives the small plastic nut

The plastic between center post extension and housing buddy? If yes, check spain store and if you cant find it check fabvape in greece. But before do all these put an o-ring where plastic was. You will be ok with a 4*1 o-ring

no I mean the kit to give the ability to make coil, the white small plastic nut provided by Bitfumo.

Bitfumo doesn't answer to my email and the Spain store doesn't have it...
