I'm kind of on a dripper hunt (playing around and chasing the clouds), and I swear theres a new "IT" dripper every week (maybe every day!? ) tobh, mephisto, magma, veritas, zenith, god the list goes on and on.... I've got a helios and nimbus now, and just cant see why any 1 is any better than another? (on drippers anyway). But like dwcraig1 I have an extra base too, and was just going to order one of the clone fasttech jobs.... but figured I'd ask how they performed.

Thanks for the fast replies fellers. ;)

I ordered the hot cig dripper. Didnt want to sit correct on my taifun (h cigar)
Ended up having to take it to the belt sander to get it to work.

I had ordered two, one for me, one for a friend. Both would screw on to all three TGT's of mine but wouldn't screw all the way onto my friends. Turned out that the deck on his wasn't perfectly centered so I increased the ID of the bottom piece of the dripper where it fits over the deck slightly and all was well again.

Set them up on a BF REO Grand and you'll find out how they really differ from one another!!!

Hey guys, I want to know which Taifun GT clone on fasttech is the best? I've been wanting to try one...

Order whatever is in stock, preferably the most expensive (by $3.00). If out of stock, order the next most expensive. The stocking timing doesn't always match up, and you can wait 6 weeks for a ten day delay. Happened to me more times than I can recount. Also, break orders into those items that are not delayed by an item or two. I found their delay timing notifications to be very unreliable. Good luck. My two cents.

Hi Folks - new to this thread :)

In the last month I've purchased both the A and B versions from FT. The A version works great: large 3mm ID coil, 28g, 6 wraps, 1.3ohms, and cotton = zero issues.

The tank on the B version was screwed on so tightly that there are hairline cracks in the threading so I haven't used it. A very nice friend has one he's not using and was willing to share so I'll try it when I get it.

The only difference I can see is the addition of a back-up airflow control tube in the B version. Neither of them have the narrow wick slots.

I find this quite interesting as I have had two "B's", I sold the first one 'cause a friend needed one and bought another. On both of the "B's" I changed the half tank with in a week of getting them but I was using TPA Ripe Bannana flavoring in my DIY so since this is a known tank cracker I assumed that it was because of the juice. They developed a bunch of small cracks in the plastic thank section's threads.
The quality of model "A" is quite good as I also have one of those, but you would be hard pressed to tell the "B" from the original of which I have one of those also.

Mine did not. I bought the $19 one and it has the same size slots as the $22

I'm curious if the FT cheapest TGT has the narrower wick slots like the one Zippy got from Anglecigs, the black one appears to have the narrow slots but it's hard to tell from the pictures.

Hello all!

I have authentic GS already, I would like to buy the authentic GT as well, this one I like to transform with the XS tank kit.

If someone do have a Hana modz mini and also the GT with XS tank kit, it would be awesome this person should show a picture of his/her device and already thx for doing this! really much appreciated!

Just got the "B" version. 510 screw is a little finicky as mentioned before, would not fire till was adjusted just right. The tank is a little hard to screw on, it needs to be perfectly even to avoid mis-threading. Vaping well now with a micro coil and cotton build. Have not tried the SS tank or Nano kit yet.

Has anyone done a pbusardo's build? He mentions and shows it in a few videos but does not have a build video. He says he has been using the same wick(mesh) and coil for 3-4 months, only replacing the Silica strip.

It has been a while since I saw the pbusardo build, but I think it was stainless steel mesh with a flavor wick on top. I can't stand the flavor of mesh, myself. I use a rayon wick in a coil built around a 7/32 drill bit. I don't **quite** squeeze the coil all together. I find if it is a bit elongated that the rayon doesn't burn as soon. Then I make a flavor wick, also of rayon, but maybe only half of the diameter of the main wick, and run it across the top, but I do it diagonally, sort of. I tuck it so that it is actually at the bottom of the wick channel, which helps hold it in place. I find if I just slap it on there, that it kind of smothers the coil.
By doing this, I do indeed get to change out the flavor wick a time or two before I have to replace the actual coil rayon.

As to gunk... that is mostly dependent on your juice. And mine tend to be really gunky, because I like dark sweet juices. So it doesn't hurt my feelings if I change the whole thing out every morning.
