How would one go about sanding some off? I mean what tool would do that?
You could use a bench grinder, dremel or rub manually on a piece of course sand paper or knife sharpening stone. Although safer, themanual method would be very time consuming. Must be a better way, I must think on this.

Sandpaper would be my suggestion. And if you've got another chamber sleeve to compare against, just slide the bottom of the tobeco chamber against the Sandpaper sitting on a flat surface (kitchen table?) maybe rotating it a little every now and then.

Keep doing that until it's the same height as the other one.

ugghh spoke to soon about no leaks...fixed one of my new Tobeco TGT last night, new (to me) wicking system and woke up this morning to an empty tank and a mess all over my Vaporshark. Thankfully I did not put it on my EYE and allow the mess to gunk up my new lanyard
I learned the hard way to never leave filled attys on mods overnight. Ever.

Can anyone recommend me a good method for wicking the GSL? PTFE Tubes drowned my vaporshark overnight. and now im either getting dry vapes, (not dry hits) using teh cotton pad method, or it leaks. Anyone recommend me a method that doesnt leak? i cant find steel mesh here in Malaysia, either theres none here, or I'm just too lazy to look haha.

Anyone using a GS model getting lots of condensation under the drip tip?

My GSL (focal) had small o-rings on the drip tip and it was super wobbly and loose. I replaced them with more appropriate sized rings, which helped a lot.... But I get "slurping" sounds which after vaping a little bit and it's almost always built up juice condensation under the drip tip. I've tried blowing into the mouthpiece but that doesn't force the liquid anywhere. Blowing into the mouth piece does help a lot when the wick and/juice interferes with the 3 upper air flow hole sets.

I wish I could figure out why some people have these issues with build up in the top section of atomizers. It does not seem to be build specific in most cases. I've not had any issues like this with any atomizer since the First Heron. Others (not all) seem to have these issues with the UTA 2 being the most recent.

I've seen multiple people complain of build up issues bad enough they describe it as gurgling. Yet the UTA Clone is my single most used atomizer. I've never had any issues with it. I've also not had any issues with any of the GSII variants.

The only thing I've come up with for a reason is an individuals vaping style. That said I never MTL, even on atomizers which would be considered to be MTL only. Normally I just take long slow pulls without any slips-treaming or MTL transfers. Even on the First Heron when it was a pretty popular complaint I typically had very little issue.

Just wondering those having these issues how exactly would you describe your vape style?

Well because I am a dork I can no longer wick the new way. Many leaks and I have gone back to old school. Sad :(
Well I had some trouble initially with leaking. Since the wicks didn't stick out I didn't notice that the chamber turned when I screwed on the tank. It was a massive leak...LOL This "new" way is much easier, I suggest to keep after it.

I pretty much use a minimum of 2.5mm coil in everything, 3mm if it will fit when you keep the wick inside that extra cotton the 3mm coil will hold is pretty much perfect, don't use anemic wicks. Keep them thick and bushy:thumb:

On the GS II I have been using this style for weeks now with no flooding or dry hits.

This is a Rayon build it might not work with cotton YMMV.
After the wick is pulled through the coil 2.5mm I split the tails in half, send the bottom half down to the wells and the top half up through the holes in the top cap. After the wick are split you would put the chamber section on and bunny ear the top wicks up through it like a kayfun. Twist the ends of the top wicks and pull them through the holes in the top cap. Center the cap holes over where the wick exits the coil and snap it down. Pull each tail relatively tight, keeping a clear center hole air flow, tuck or move wick as needed.

Trim the excess wick sticking out of the holes leaving a mm excess and spread it out away from the edge or the center hole. Juice it all up and put your tank back on.

The Rayon will hold it's position perfectly and not fall from the holes. Cotton might work fine but since it swells when wet it might block off the flow from the tank.

I'm not sure why but I have got me a few of those new fangled tanks that perform more drippers. Only problem is I'm not exactly into big cloud drippers. The UD Bellus does just fine in single coil mode, the Motofo Serpent just got an air reducer (5 mm to 3.2 mm), it's fine now. The Cthulhu V2 has a single coil deck similar to ST, I'll put that in next. Saving the Aromamizers for last. I'm determined to make them all vape like a TGS2.
Looking forward to the FEV, it's almost here.

I tend to lung hit everything. Even when it's difficult (ie: gem). I usually chain vape for a minute to several minutes then wait until I want to vape again. But I usually take a deep lung puff on all my attys, granted until recently most of my attys have not been designed for lung hits....

I'd like to see a picture of two of that build.

Phone Guy, to deepen the mystery, your style sounds nearly identical to mine, if not identical. I guess these issues with condensation build ups are for now at least going to remain a mystery. I just went through two tanks on the GSL, and not even enough build up under the tip to wipe out.

And Merry Christmas back at everyone!
