Kimmy, If you are considering sending it in anyways, it sounds like you have Mike's approval to TRY what we suggested for you. Worst case is that the wire on the inside breaks and you have to send it in anyways.

I wouldn't have recommended the steps I listed, if I hadn't done it myself and felt that it was actually easy to do.

batteries charged ?? ( use a voltmeter if you have one , they should read 4.2 volts each )
Take off the atty /carto first
Do you have a RED LED light ?
DO you have a Blue Led light when the button is pushed.
DO you have a Blue led with the ATTY/CARTO ON the unit ?
Do you have BOTH red and Blue led lights ?
Do you get a blue led with the atty/carto ON but no vapor ?


please answer these again if needed

Well bummer Kimmy, I'm sorry nothing has worked so far :( Might be a spacer missing under your top cap screw...I think that was already mentioned.

Yeah it's gotta be something going on inside or something wrong with that screw. I'm going to send it to Cali tomorrow morning :):( I just wonder if I should send my batts and charger too

OK this is an 808 right ?? If so I can send you a new top cap , what was the order number or last name Kimmy ??

If you want to send it to us make sure to send some cartos to test it with!!

Something is shorting out.

I appreciate the offer to send a top cap, but if something's built wrong or it's missing a part (I really don't feel comfortable re-building anything), I feel like it would be more efficient to just send it to you guys and possibly save time in the long-run. If I wait for a replacement cap and it still doesn't work then
that will waste time since I'll have to send it anyway. Trying to have it working for my b-day. I'm just going to send it to you guys later this afternoon w/ the batteries and some blank cartomizers--I really don't mind paying for the shipping/tracking to get her working and feel confident she's fixed. She broke down on me at work while I was serving tables---when I need it most, haha :)
