What were the names of the 3 stooges, was it something like Curly, Larry and Mo ???

I remember watching them years ago on a black and white TV - showing my age now

Can you imagine if they did something similar today, with all the PC crowd nowadays, it would probably get banned cos of all the violence.

Ha ha love it mate

Was Mo the bald one ??? Cos if that's so, it's probably right for me. Started thinning the day I first drove a bus in service :(

:offtopic: I know this is gonna sound weird, I have noticed extra hair growth since I started vaping, not on my head, but on my knee caps of all places. Wonder if it's cos of better blood flow to my legs now, but at one point my knees were almost hairless when I smoked

I do like the look of that, don't think it will vape very well though :p

Seriously though, what are you gonna use it for Paul ? It must have taken you quite a while to do something with so many curves

It's to house a circuit board for a pc audio amplifier. I did two of them today for a freind of mine. It has a lid in the same material which will get a layer of anodised aluminium. It got me thinking about Atty stands today, i have some oak to use up, not a lot but enough to make a couple. Could not aford the walnut as that cost an absolute fortune.

I take my hat off to you Paul, you've got some real talent there :toast:

I'm pretty sure you could easily sell on atty and mod stands. I've been looking at some today that range in price from £30 - £200. I like the look of the stepped design stands. So you can put bottles on the bottom, then toppers and mods on the top shelf.

The biggest wood project I did was a few years ago, I didn't have your set-up though, basically just a jigsaw and sander. A friend of mine moved into an old cottage that had 8 bedrooms (used to be 3 houses, but was knocked through it one massive property in the 1920's). He decided to knock down some of the dividing walls and make 4 decent size bedrooms. When we had finished, he had 2 fire surrounds spare, so he said I could have them. Took me 4 full days to take them apart, dovetail joints everywhere. After stripping off at least 20 layers of paint, I found one was solid mahogany, the other solid oak. After loads of cutting, sanding and re-jointing, I've ended up with a one-off fire surround that's 3/4's the size of the original 2 surrounds. If I say so myself, it looks great with 3 coats of yacht varnish on it. Wouldn't do it again though, had to wear a full respirator to strip the lead paint - even outside.
