Thanking you both Drs. SC and Salem. I am learning so much here, and decide if I ever need any medical advice, I will just come here. I would much rather pay you guys than some overpriced stranger who would make me sit in an overbooked crowded room with screaming kids running all over the place. Seriously, I am impressed with all I am learning. Especially since I do not have a Dr. Have not been to one---go to my gynecologist once a year and do the mammogram thing. That is it----so when the time comes, and I know it will, I probably won't find any body to take me---so I will just come here.

I know what I do from experience and its not all that much fun to learn that way but it does seem to stick with you

I am sorry you are learning the hard way, Salem. It is sure helping me learn the easy way (for now, but my time will be coming--with age it always does). I know I have been lucky with health so far, but I do know that and I am thankful. And I also see the unfairness in this life with all that are not so blessed. I try not to take my blessings for granted.

LOL, guys ... I was a Navy Corpsman with advanced paramedical training and was assigned to the Marine Corps. You wouldn't believe the things I did in the field back in the Nam days.

Point is, I know what sleep apnea is, I sleep like a baby and I don't snore and do dream every night.

But ... back when I was working overseas the job was such a high pressure situation and extremely stressful. I did snore then, real bad and slept fitfully and I know I had sleep apnea back then. I'm sure that's when all the damage was done.

Now that I've been retired all that has stopped.

And I know this infection can be dangerous, even life threatening. But I'm getting good treatment and care and its going to be okay. I promise!

I just hate to waste my time with things like a sleep study when I really know I don't need it.

LOL, I agree with gramva. I have enough medical professionals right here to take care of me and to flirt with. And I know for sure they are the prettiest and most caring people around.

Came up with one interesting bit of info though. Their calling for a 40% chance of rain here today!!! That sounds encouraging.

Have you seen where the newest hurricane is hitting Puerto Rico and is expected to move up the East Coast?
