Did you know that gators have a fave spot to poop? Yep they do and many of them had fave spots right in my back yard. My mom being a NYer (lol) thought we were crazy when we bought the lot to build our house on. She said the darn things will be up on your porch and in your house before you know it. This coming from someone that thought tomatoes grew on trees for the longest time

Well, I do feel much better now that Salem has guided me to some other places to look for all you when the commies take our forum away...I'll be able to find you all from my underground bunker next time!

Did you mention poor man waffles? To this day I eat waffles with Karo syrup on them, instead of maple syrup. I always have, since I was a wee lass and my parents never could figure out where I learned it. I bet ice cream is good too. hmm.

TT & SC, you just load up your trailers and head up here to Wash. I'll take you out to dinner at Ivar's for some yummy clams. (Bring crawdads for me though, will ya?)

Oh our house in Charleston was on a huge reservoir well known for the gators. The boat landing was right next to our house. Well we had HUGE gators that would "sun" in our backyard. People would bring their dogs and go swimming off the boat ramp! We would warn them but gave up because they never listened! Darn things would snap up my ducks and I just despised them!

Their nothing to mess with.

Did you see on the news where that 90 year old woman in Florida was attacked by one and even though a couple guys shot it, it still kept attacking and trying to drag her into the water? She lost a leg over it, and thank goodness those guys were there to save her or it would have been a real disaster.

Well on the reservoir that we lived on many "tourists" would stop on the bridge and feed them hot dogs because they wanted to see a gator. Sooo when these gators would see people on the bank they naturally thought of a free meal

When we lived in Miami, I became so used to them that I almost didn't even notice them anymore.... That wasn't real smart eh?

Gators are actually very lazy creatures and try to stick with easy meals unlike crocs which are more aggressive

Oh yeah techno, Karo Syrup was all we ever had and like you, I still like that stuff. Down here they sell a cane syrup that is similar and real good too!

An lady, I can't tell you how much I like those clams you have up there! Boy oh boy that's good eating. I'll be loading the crawdad's shortly!

This is very true, but have you ever seen a real hungry one....Man they can get up and move with amazing speed!! On land or water.... Ugh!

I'll take some of that Geoduck with biscuits and syrup...also like cornbread and syrup....would take some clams too....geez send those fires this way SC and TT, so I can get an invite too....

My mother made our syrup....sugar, water, maple flavoring and butter....I guess I have too....lol
