Wow! I am back from shopping. I had a first today. A very elderly woman tried to steal my plastic bag with goods out of my cart. I was completely shocked. I grabbed my bag out of her cart ASAP but what do you say to a 70+ year old women. I just told her sorry you took my bag. However, she was not going to give it up. Unreal. It must be the economy when older, older folks take things right out of your cart. BBL I am still recovering. Did I mention I HATE SHOPPING! i do have my goods. There is no way I am going shopping and returning home without the goods! I do feel bad for the older lady.

Yeah your right Padre. How can I get mean with a very old lady! However, I did look in her cart she had more groceries than me. So I don't feel bad grabbing my goods. I tried to play it off that she must have made a mistake...LOL Realy? I just didn't want her to have a heart attack or ? There is an old saying "looks can be deceiving". They look innocent. However, turn your head or whatnot and they have their hands in your shopping cart! Oh I think I need more time to recoup. LOL Maybe bring some weapon of sorts-gift certificates for cracker barrel or hardee'sto keep those little old ladies from jacking my chit!

Hello again all

No Salem you didn't scare me away.

Pokey, i would love to have that plate on my car, but this blasted state i live in requires front and rear plates.

Padre, where you at, i live near Arundel Mills.

These storms suck, I went to work this morning and had to come home shortly after. My basement flooded. I shouldn't have posted that vid of Ellicott City yesterday. It turns out that i have what basically is a sinkhole in my back yard that pushed the sandy soil into my sump pump and had it physically covered it causing it to overheat sometime during the night. with all the rain and flooding plumbers are pretty busy but we got one to come over. Our basement is finished and the carpets are drenched and soggy.

LOL, us "older, older" folks like us always have a great time in store parking lots doing things like that. Sometimes they take their bag back and sometimes a nice wife will say "oh, he's just a poor, old, crazy man. Let him have it and we'll get some more."

I can double what I bring home by doing that and spend half as much money!

I've found WalMart and Krogers are the best places to do it. But if I don't have a busy day planned sometimes I'll run by a couple other grocery stores too.

Got some great tapioca pudding in little plastic cups at WalMart the other day like that!

And if anyone gets mean I just fall down and start yelling "that guy hit me!!! Call the Police!!!" And when the crowd gathers around and their all yelling at him I grab the keys to his Cadillac out of his hand and then go for a nice ride around town for a while.

There really are joys to being old.

I just saw some reports of the floods on the news oly. Wow, that's bad stuff!

Sorry to hear about your house! That is such a shame!

LOL! Tony LLama and Resistol are the closest I come to cowboying.

I don't believe you kgj. You probably ride one of those fine palomino's and go all over the countryside saving damsels in distress and beating up bad guys!

Man, I sure do miss New Mexico.

Don't ever marry a Texas gal.

Hey Everyone,

I'm not going to be online tonight. My stoopid heart doctor seems to think I've been jerking him around on getting a sleep study done. I had registered at the stoopid hospital for it but they said they were all scheduled up until November. I gave him the sad news the last time I saw him.

Well, my stoopid heart doctor took it upon himself to work things out with the stoopid hospital for me to go in tonight and have the stoopid sleep study done. And the stoopid cowardly heart doctor didn't even have the guts to work all this out with me ... (I guess he knew I would find a way to squirm out of it) ... He worked it all out and set it up with MY WIFE!!!!

And she proudly announced to me that I AM going.

Stoopid.

So if you ever wanted to talk about me this will be a good time to do it. Actually, talking about me is one of my favorite things to do anyhow!

Love ya all,

TT

TT, we'll all miss you, but you gotta do what the wife (&doc) say ya gotta do.

Pokey? Where's Pokey? Did your Avi sneeze?

Sdh, sounds like a good time shopping...but beware...70 ISN'T actually old. 70 is the new 50. You have to be 85 or older before you can get away with stealing out of other people's carts...

pokey! your avi! I miss Pokey already!

oly, I work 2 minutes from Arundel Mills. I live in Bowie.

Can you believe...it's raining again! I see lightning and hear the thunder. great another day to try and get to work tomorrow!

Why in the world would you want to leave Maryland anyway? is it the earthquakes? hurricanes? flooding? 3 feet of snow a couple of winters ago? Jeez, why do I stay?

My wife wants to move to the Carolinas, I should start listening!

You guys won't believe what TT did! that story coming soon!

Sdh, I was going to say be gentle with us older people. We sometimes don't know where we are let alone what we just did.

THEN, I remembered something that happened to me 3-4 weeks ago, and I am now certain I have met TT!!!!
I had filled cards to get a free item from Grocery Store. I went in just to get it as forgot to when I got groceries and time was running out. I did not even think about having to pay the tax on it. I was like 4-6 cents short having enough change-nothing else on me but a cc. An"older, older gentleman" that was gathering up his groceries after having just checked out threw up the change to the cashier. I walked down to the end to pick up my sack and it was gone. Yup, sure I have met TT now!!!! He is a lot smaller than I had him pictured!!!!

Will be thinking of you TT. Look at it this way, you didn't have time to stew about it!!! It'll be done and over, and otherwise you would still be thinking I have to get that done some day....

Sorry to hear that sounds like you're going to get more rain Padre as well as your flooded basement Oly. Argh!
Hope the sinkhole isn't too big and deep.....
