LOL, I'm thinking 3 or 4 mints per day should do it!

The claims about preventing flu, and other illnesses is wild.
But, I did get the sinus spray to try.
I know People (yes, I do know people), who are swearing by it for their kids - to keep them healthy.
What the heck. I'm on a "stay healthy" kick since I quit smoking!

Go for it, Techno. You'll know soon enough if 3 or 4 is too many, I am sure. :)

I am familiar with the Zinc lozenges for cold prevention, but the Xylitol is news to me...I hope it works for you; having the flu is nasty business.

Zinc actually made me nauseous as I recall...
Last Winter was the first time in years that I did not have bronchitis, and didn't have to use an inhaler.
I quit smoking last October.
I'm not sure if bronchitis was a result of smoking per se, or a consequence of standing outside in cold rainy windy weather shivering (while smoking)...

Hard to know, for sure Techno, but I am leaning towards the smoking as being the primary culprit. Since having quit, I have not had bronchitis either - and it always followed a cold or sinus thing with me. It is probably the most obvious benefit I have noticed - other than being able to swim one+ laps underwater now, something I couldn't do since I was a kid.

Oh, and my sense of taste is much improved. And that is good and bad, lol.

I tried to get back into swimming, but I still go one length of the pool, and then have to rest.
This would not be so bad, but there are several men & women in their 80's & above who swim lap after lap for about 2 hours or more every day, without stopping...and they kept mocking me for taking so many breaks.
I was humiliated...I feel like a 100 year old man in a 50 year old woman's body!!!

Oh, Techno. That is so wrong of them to mock you! Mean old people..IN SUPER HUMAN CONDITION.

One of the elder men was talking to me & his wife swam over & yelled at him. In a thick german accent..."your here to svim, not to talk to young vemmin' Svim!".
I laughed so hard, I might have ... you know...
