I just received the 801 HV mini 801 atomizer from Ikenvape in the mail this evening. It has the same chrome look of the other 801s I've used but this one is only 1.25" long. It is about 1/2" wide at the base. Approximatly 1" from the bottom it reduces to 7/16" for the last 1/4". With the black plastic flat tip it comes with on it the carto is 2" long.
These are approximate measurements for description purposes.
It metered at 3.9 ohms
Now on to some testing

After some testing :

I'm using Madvapes 3&5 24 mg. with Good Prophets peanutbutter 12 mg. added 100% pg. 4.9 volts 1.13 amps. Great vapor, but I taste a little of the matallic bridge on my 1st puff. After the 1st puff the metallic taste is gone and the amp draw lowered to 1.12 and holding steady. Vapor and taste is great. Started with 5 drops on 1st puff, then 5 more drops and 5 puffs until more juice needed. Now I'll increase the voltage.

I increased to 5.4 volts. Amp draw is 1.23 and this is a wee bit warmer which is how I enjoy vaping. The same great vapor and taste but it is time for more juice. I've experienced no leakage. added 6 drops this time and still great taste, and flavor. throat hit is mild and enjoyable. It's time to refill after the 5 puffs I just took and up the voltage to give this mini the maxi workout. I think it's time for 6 volts.

At 6 volts I'mpulling 1.35.5 amps and this little guy is working pretty good.I started off with 8 drops, The vapor is still great the taste is great and the throat hit is starting to get a might more intense for me but I can't understand how the 6 volt vapers do it. It's still great at this level with the mini although I have noticed it does love the juice at these upper ranges.
Okay I guess I'll go for 6.2 volts because I did say I was going to work this little guy.

6.2 volts and it's coming in at 1.42 amps and the throat hit is more than I can handle. The vapor is still great and maybe with different juice it will work. I'll try some wow 555 and see what happens. I put 4 drops of wow 555 right on the bridge and it wasn't bad. At this level I'm sure with the right juice and person it would be fine but it's a little higher than I like to vape so I'm going to leave it here and add more as I vape more.

In all I think this is going to be a great HV Atomizer that will be good for high voltage vaping in the 5volt to 6 volt and above for those that vape at that level. It doesn't seem to falter at any of those voltage levels. I'm now going to try some of the lower voltages to see how it performs.
I think, as I said before, one of Isaacs prerequisites is vapor production because like the rest of the carto's and atty's, I've tested of his, this one also rocks .

Wow 5card. You took that puppy through quite a range of power (does that make you a power ranger?)
Isaak sent me an 801 atty with my last order and has asked me about it a couple times. I'm wondering if it's the same one. Wasn't really hitting the throt much at 5V. Flavor was real good though. I use a fairly high VG percentage too so TH is more illusive for me.
Nah. now that I think about it this one can't be 3.9Ω. At least it doesn't act like it's that high.

I thought that was high but Thats what it metered at. I haven't checcked the other one yet. The throat hit is pretty mild at 5 volts but up at 6 it is getting a bite to it. I never could figure out how people could take them regular cartos and vape them at 6 volts. That's just to rough for me. It wasn't bad with this one I got from Isaac. Today I'm going to open the other one and give it a run for the roses.

Yeah, that's hot stuff. When all I had was mods that were either 3.7 or 6V I always used a HV atty at 6V. Usually a 901 so the TH was manageable for sure. I just tried to take a resistance reading off the one he sent me but I guess I either don't know how or my multimeter is a piece of junk. The number flashes for a fraction of a second and drops right off and every time I try it's different. You set the meter at 200k, right?

I vape at 5 volts with BE112 (801 type) attys and two different 801 cartomizers. Any thoughts on whether this HV 801 will hold up better than the regular 801's?

My thought on that are the regular 801s were meant to be used on the 801 battery that is rated at 3.7 volts but actually puts out less loaded voltage. I don't remember what it was but it is in a post Scottbee did on batteries. Anyway at 5 volts you are stressing it and I did to when I vaped at 5 volts. Logic tells me these will last longer because these are designed for 5 to 6 volt vaping where as the regulars are designed for 3.7 volt vaping.. I hope that made sense.

OK Issac you've managed another winner Atty my friend, I got my pkg today of the Mini HV-801 Atty's as well as some other things. I'm away until tomorrow but brought my Ikenvape.com pkg with me and slammed one of these Mini HV-801's on my Buzz. I don't have my meter with me but I have a pretty god sense after all the time I've been vaping when I'm around 5v 6v 7v and right now I'm somewhere around 6V on the 801's and they are just banging Brutha. The flavor once again from these Mini's is fabulous and I mean fabulous everyone can have there 306 & even there 510's I will take both the Mini 2 ohm and the Mini 3.5 ohm 801 now over any other Attys out there the flavor that I am getting out of my juice with these Atty's is fa-nominal the taste is better then anything else using these, the vapor is as much as any other Atty maybe more and I'm back into my 6v vape again with dripping and running these on my Bottom feeding juice box's like my Ali'i. I'm going to use this HV-801 all night and tomorrow and write up my Beta review after I use this Atty for a little longer, I also would like to say I have not blown, burnt, or popped one of the 2ohm 801 Mini's yet and I'm putting them through there paces and running them very hard, and I plan on doing the same with these HV-801's.!! Issac, cheers buddy looks like we have another winner here that's gonna be on the Ikenvape.com shelf, you have my thumbs up on these already and its only been a couple hours of using these Mini HV-801 3.5ohm Atty's so far, way to go buddy these are awesome..!!!! Issac you and Ikenvape.com Rock buddy what ever you do don't stop doing what your doing, you've found your calling !!!!

Woohoo... the stock update I've been waiting for...

2ohm 801 minis
3.5ohm 801 minis
AW LifePO batts (to go along with the extended chamleon tube that's in transit already)

Gonna give 6v vaping a whirl with these 3.5 ohmers.

Your going to love these HVs. I imagine the 2 ohms too because I haven't found a bad Ikenvape product yet.

I've done 5V via the lizards passthru gizmo (don't like being tethered)... but no 6v yet... I've been mostly using the P16+AWIMR for 3.7V vaping, but now that i'm getting the extension sleeve i'll put the lizard back into use as a 6V creature and see what i think about these 3.5 ohmers at that level... i expect it'll be kicked up a notch from my 3.7V/2ohm setup... nearer to 10 watts (yikes!)

Most definitely, be aware though there is a such thing as a 6V curse. Once you go on it gets very difficult to come down from the cloud. I remember back in the GG days, when the creator sent me the first 6V device. Vaped and vaped, till it needed repair/upgrade. That month without was the hardest one imaginable. I literally vaped through my entire stash. Many atomizers and batteries were destroyed, now we have all kinds of things like LR and cartomizers, so it'll be a different story :D

Haha I seen you Vaporo,
Just didn't answer because it was addressed to Mwa, probably out xmas shopping
The difference is that since the barrel is cut shorter, this gives the vapor less travel room, taking away the cool down period providing a notch more actual feel (throat hit) and warmth.
