Thats about what im getting. But i was pulling in a lot of ait and wasnt getting that resistance when i was pulling it...so i took out the dart today and am running it with just foam.

What type of cart filler you are using should have little or no effect on the "draw" (inhale resistance) of the PV.

The exception would be if the filler is allowing so much liquid into the atty that it is becoming over-saturated and "clogged". Then the draw will get harder.

How do you think we could use this on pen carts? I am trying to figure it out right now with not much luck. Any suggestions? Mesurements?

Since the opening on my DSE801 cart is about twice the size of my 901, I'm going to double the deminsions (lengthwise) and fold it in half. Should probably increase the width by about 20% too. I'm using a larger straw (3.5mm) so it should fit OK. I use an 801PT at work - will try later today.

can someone tell me where I get the stirrer? I looked at walmart and only found coffee stirrers, I went to burgerking, but they are 3mm and not 2mm so they get stuck in the cart. right now I have the spring mod with blue foam on the top and I'm sucking up way too much liquid although it works great when it works. really need to do this mod.

I picked up a few red 2mm at McDonalds.

I had absolutely no luck finding coffee stirrers at our Walmart; HOWEVER, in the alcoholic beverage department there are 2mm cocktail stirrers that are perfect. They are in clear upright plastic packaging and are black in color. Tough to spot even looking right at 'em.

BTW I've been using this mod for over a week and it's better than anything else I've tried so far (and I've tried most lol).

I've found stirrers that are the right size in red, black and white with a red stripe. Now I'm color coding them where the red ones are for HV mods. Those I trim down a bit on the sides so that they wick a bit faster. Once you get the hang of it, it's really quite easy to judge how much "wick" you need for your juice's thickness and the voltage you use. Anyhow, It really does my heart good to hear that others are having the same success as I am with this. It so nice not to have to drip every 5 puffs!

I'm new to the forum and ecigs, but tried this mod tonight and works a treat. I couldn't find any stirrers, but for anyone else stuck, I cut up a cotton bud and the stick is hollow, just the right size and works perfectly. Thanks for the info on the mod.

For those of you who don't know what a cotton bud is it's a Q-Tip.

I was having trouble until I pulled the blue foam out of the straw a bit. I don't think I had enough coming out the top and it was hard to draw. I thought it stopped working again but when I took it out it was completely dry and there was no juice left in the cart. Seems to be working much better!

I finally got around to trying this tonight. Pulled out the blue foam, gave it an evil eye, and whipped up a couple darts. They flood just a little bit when I first put the cart on the atty but I just vape right through that and it's smooth sailing till they're empty. I may have the straws just a hair too long.
A good flowing cart is so much better then dripping.
Drip drip vape vape vape eeeeew drip drip vape gurgle shit!

I made the blue foam wedgie like in the pic and tried the straw with my 510 but was getting juice coming out of the tip too much. Took out the straw and repacked the wedgie and I haven't had the juice problem since. This was a big fix for me and for the first time am actually enjoying dripping. I still have to reload more frequently perhaps but the atty gets hot anyhow. I am loving the wedgie! Hah.
