Thank you Baditude for all you do here on ECF. And especially for your help to all the newbies. I was one of them. Your knowledge and patience was stellar. Because of you, and a handful of other ECF veterans, I have been able to stop smoking after 45 years.

When I try to help another newcomer in the middle of the night, a couple of your blog posts on battery safety and cartos are links I provide to them. And because of you I know enough to post - DO NOT USE THAT BATTERY

I was so fortunate to attract his attention when I first started posting. Of course he told me to get off and never come back! Just kidding. I personally feel he supported me from day one. I could just be delusional, but I almost feel as if he was like a mentor to me. He had the patience of Job, and the tack that I've always lacked. Yes, I'm an ..., everyone knows it. But he seemed to almost accept my shortcomings.

I'm really gonna miss him. He was the greatest and baddest! Thank you OP for starting this little wake for one of the forums most famous members. RIP Bad! This vapes for you buddy!

Totally agree! Thanks Batitude! You are a true communicator--there is a difference between an educator and a communicator. An educator typically takes something very simple and makes it complicated--a communicator takes something complicated and makes it simple so that many people can understand! That is a gift and you are blessed with that gift!

You have helped me from day one on this forum and your time and knowledge is truly appreciated!
