Both Backwoods Brew and Tasty Vapor make great-tasting e-liquid. I'm sure you will be pleased ... although you may need to experiment a bit to find your own favorite flavors. TV has only one tobacco flavor (well, Geoff does have a menthol version of it), but scads of yummy non-tobacco flavors. And, with his Doublers, he may be the lowest-cost supplier around. BB does have several great tobacco flavors (and non-tobacco as well).

With the possible exception of the eGO (also using the 510 atomizer), the Joye 510 model is the most popular (at least among forum members) ... and Cignot is a leading supplier of it. Their $35 no-box kit is very cost-effective.

The only downside to the Joye 510 model is its quickly tiring 180 mAh* battery. If you become frustrated by it, there are solutions available.

* mAh = milliamp hours (the higher that is, the longer you can vape before recharging the battery).

The way around that in 2009 was the PCC (charge one battery while you're vaping the other, even on the go). Cignot carries the 510 PCC, as does LiteCigUSA (lower price, $2 shipping).

However, in early 2010, a better solution was introduced: the Joye eGO: a wider 650 mAh battery for the 510 atty. Throughout the year, many other similar models – and enhancements to the eGO – have come on the market. The most cost-effective is the Riva-510: Liberty-Flights is selling the 750 mAh version (their "LITE BUNDLE" complete two battery/two atomizer kit) for $30 (using 20% off discount code: ecf) ... and BreezEsmokes sells the new 1100 mAh version (also complete kit) for $48. [BreezEsmokes also sells the 1100 mAh KGO for only $40, but I don't know enough about it to recommend it or not.] The 900+ mAh versions of any of these (including the eGO) are longer than the 650 mAh eGO or 750 mAh Riva.

I bought the VIP from vaporizela for $50. It seems like it was a good price, comparable to others you mentioned. After digging around the boards tonight, it seems like it is just like the Joye eGo. So I guess I got lucky on my first shot :) I charged it at 3pm today and it's almost 11 hours later and still going strong.

The average noob eCig user must be overwhelmed by all the choice, but you certainly made it easier! Guess I should have really checked thos new members forum first! I only got the one unit and battery, but I guess I better get another battery at the least in case something goes wrong. Thanks for all of the tips!

Thanks for the information in this post!

I've spent HOURS pouring over bunches of these posts and I really am suffering from information overload, however I do feel more confident about making a decision now. Hubby and I are wanting to make the switch to digital and there are SO many choices.

We pretty much know we want Kr808d autos for the ease of use in the beginning and the feel of an analog. I'm picking a vendor now but most of their websites are lacking either enough information for me to feel comfortable with them or bombard me (as a newb) with so much info it feels like such a chore to sift through it.

I'm on the fence and need to make a choice - supply and delivery are important to me....help? =)
