People who were leaning toward the Kr8 but were enamored with the 510's eGO (and its cousins) no longer need to be torn. CigEasy has released the Elegant: a 750 mAh eGO-type battery for Kr8 cartomizers ... and the 901 atomizer. And I also use it (with adapter) with my beloved penstyle attys. I reviewed it this weekend here.

I don't have much experience with different models, but I would definitely recommend an M-40x model to anyone.

I started with a Green Smoke cartomizer unit before I found this forum, and while I liked the idea, that particular model didn't work well for me.

I do love my M4's. Unlike people who talk about attys being disposable, I have only had one atty go bad on me in over a year of part-time vaping. I've bought extras, but mostly for keeping different flavors separate.

I really got excited when I got my M-402 PCC. It will charge a battery, hold 4 carts, and hold an assembled M-402 PV so all you have to do is open the case, grab the PV, and start puffing. Just like taking a cigarette out of a pack.

I can't speak to how my M4 compares to other models in vapor production, etc., (and actually I do want to try something new some day) but I know it works great for me, and I like having the compact cigarette-pack-sized box that contains everything I need for a day or two.

Norby, as I said in the review: There is no one best e-cig for all vapers! The important thing is that you have found a model that you enjoy. Stick with it ... unless and until you get restless.

At that point, you may want to take a second look at the models covered in my review (and their big brothers, eGO and Riva for the 510 and Elegant for the Kr8 and 901) ... and/or the vast world of mods.

Whoa, this is pretty awesome!
I love your enthusiasm, Koman! Unfortunately, I don't know what the referent is for "this." That is, what is pretty awesome?

The whole world of vaping? I couldn't agree with you more!

Absolutely. In fact I am in the middle of researching the "bigger" 510 models (eGo/Tornado/TREX/MaXX/etc.) But only since I've finally gotten comfortable with my current model. Now I'm ready for a step up.

I just have to make sure I don't go overboard, or I risk spending all the money I would be saving not buying analogs.

I really do appreciate all the extremely helpful (and entertaining) wealth of information and experience you contribute to this site. Thank you!

I've read some negative things about the T-Rex/MaXX. I am most impressed by the eGO-sized 750mAh Riva and larger 1300mAh Hello 016. They are higher capacity and less expensive than the eGO/Tornado. The H16 (as it is abbreviated) can be had for $35 from DigitalCiggz, i.e., the same as a 510 starter kit from Cignot. It comes with only one battery (and charger) and atty, but what a battery! All you need for a full day and evening of vaping.
