"Specifically designed" isn't that marketing-speak for ''we-ordered-enough-of these-knock-offs-that-they're-going-to-engrave-them-with-our-logo-at-no-extra-cost" ? ;)

Y'know?... that's a very 'mean' :glare:... and 'uninformed' statement to be making as I know for a FACT that this is not the case.

Based on MY OWN EXPERIENCES with the EVOD & various other clones that 'exclusively designed' means just that.

I wasn't initially going to dignify this :-x with a response, but I don't like it when people make allegations that are totally untrue.

How come folks are ignoring the smiley at the end of that marketing speak statement ?

Relax.

There's vendors and there's vendors. Some do like that, basically in it for the fast buck. And then there's vendors that indeed take something good and make it better. One of ECF's function to help newbies is to seperate the former from the latter...East of the Atlatnic is jes' like west of the Atlantic. I know who among the vendors deliver and who don't....
And I do look here and local forums to find out whether it's worth buying. Lotsa fplks don't have the financial leeway to shrug off the investment into 'duds' that find their way into the recycling bin after a short while...

I beg your pardon as I 'missed' that smiley face.....

I side with your financial concerns regarding New Vapors as I once was one.... hence the 'reason' I stand behind and support this Company Brand so enthusiastically, or... perhaps in this case, fanatically even.

Again, my apologies if I offended. :toast:

Wow I am burned out From reading so much information on this site, And this thread I got to page 6 And skipped to the end.
I bought a single use ecig at the gas station Just to try, I smoke two packs a day And just want to get a set up and start vaping, But I don't want to fail with something that is not adequate. This sounds like a good price in a good setup with everything I need. Maybe I should just order this klt and get it over with, And get started

Edit :But which kit

Hi All,

I get 2-5 email daily from folks who desperately want to quit smoking and try vaping. Most of them tell me they don’t want to get anything too expensive or too “complicated.” In the past I’ve steered people towards KR808 batts and cartos because of their cigarette familiarity. But not anymore. I picked up one of these kits for a future video and WoW!

The Emax over at MaxVaper http://www.maxvaper.com.

Look At This:

View attachment 253642

This is not just another eGo/Evod-esque wanna-be. From the website,"The E-MAX was exclusively designed for MAX VAPER by an independent manufacturer to our own specifications and is not not a knockoff or clone of the Kanger Evod. It has many upgraded features that sets it apart from the others currently flooding the market and is unique in overall design."

This is kit is really something.

2 - 650 mAh batts,
2 - 1.6 ml EMAX tanks
A USB charger and wall adapter
A carrying case … and … a 10ml bottle of juice.

The whole deal comes to $39.95. Or for $49.95 you get a Mini Protank along with the Emax tanks.

Now normally I’m a VV Go-Go Fury and M1 tank vaper and I love 'em … but I put the Emax through its paces for a couple of days and was very impressed. The starter kit I got 3 ½ years ago was good … I was able to painlessly stop smoking … but I think I would have had way more fun with an Emax.

First off - awesome review bobalex, I laughed several times

I'm half convinced to get the kit, but I'm a little worried by the battery. I see some posts saying I want a 900 mAh or higher for it to last a full day. How long does the battery last on the E-max?

Hi LaDiablo,

Someone more knowledgeable than I should chime in here. I always have two ecigs in my pocket At All Times. I ping-pong back and forth between 2 tobacco flavors. Two in the pocket and two in the chargers is my motto. That's a good solid full day O' Vaping (and then some). But ... if you're looking for 900 mAh then click on over and take a look at the 900 mAh VV E-Max:

MAX KITS

I haven't used a single E-Max (or any other ecig for that matter) until blinkage. I'm a 2 flavor all the time guy. I used to carry 3 in my pocket but that's just crazy. I'm all better now.

Really.

Vape on.

I've noticed that at times also. A good reason to have multiple batteries!

I dropped my Emax twist on concrete, in a puddle, and it died :(
I wanted to buy just another battery, but Keith over at maxvaper said it's only sold in kits and promised to throw in some goodies if I ordered another kit, so I did, and I gotta say, the guy knows how to keep his customers happy. Some extra tanks and flavors and I am thrilled at the service, once again. Thanks, Maxvaper!

After trying all the gas-n-grab junk out there I figured there's got to be something better out there. My search ended at this forum and on this thread. Got my kit a little over a week ago. Even threw in an extra bottle of juice. Haven't had a an analog since!
Been smoking 40 years tried everything this is working. Figured it would if i could get good stuff.
This is good stuff! It Works Dependably!
Just wanted to say thank you all!

It sounds like the only issues anyone is having are with the batteries. Being a noob, but jumping in with both feet, I've order a few things yet to be delivered, and bought a VV yesterday. Would this kit work with batteries other than what comes in their kits? I've quickly learned to have 2 batteries charged, just in case. I don't ever want to be stranded & tempted to start the stinkies again.
