The Best Starter Kit I’ve Ever Seen

Will say their customer service is top notch. When I complained about the first broken battery, he told me how to purchase a new one and threw in a free tank, free case, and a free 10ml bottle of e-liquid.

The e-liquid is tangerine swirl. Smells delicious but it's 24mg. Since I've been vaping 12mg I think it's going to be too much.

You can 'cut' that 24mg liquid down yourself using 'food grade' PG and/or VG/or both. ;)

My biggest complaint with the starter kits is they usually come with heads of too high a resistance for the battery. A 510 cigalike is 3.3V regulated with 2.2Ω for right at 5 watts. That's a very marginal vape. Most plain eGo batteries are the same voltage yet Kanger puts 2.5Ω coils in their small clearomizers, which yield an almost unusable 4.3 watts at 3.3V. With their 3.7V batteries, the 2.5Ω is only 5.5 watts. Even worse, I don't think I've ever measured a Kanger 2.5Ω head that wasn't 2.6-2.8Ω.

A 3.3V battery needs a 1.8Ω head to get 6 watts. A 3.7V battery needs a 2.2Ω head to get 6.2W or a 1.8Ω head to get 7.6W. With 2.5Ω (or worse in reality), you're getting cigalike power to the coil. Of course, with a Twist/Spinner/Winder, this isn't an issue.

The main thing holding me back from trying out the E-Max is one is forced to buy a "kit". I don't want or need a kit...and I don't use clearomizer style tanks at all. I could get the kit, but would be basically discarding half of it because I wouldn't use or need it. Pity they don't just sell the batteries a la carte....THEN I'd be interested!!

Just swapped out a coil thingie on the Vivi Nova tank - it was SO EASY. I can't believe I'd been sweating it for weeks and delaying and delaying. Lots of harshness recently, and not surprising -- I bought the kit at the beginning of October! I can't believe I had no maintenance issues other than charging batts and filling tanks for over SIX WEEKS!! And the coil replacement was a breeze.

I remain thrilled with this setup. Just remember: don't overtighten!!!

If you e-mail them asking to just purchase the batteries they might be able to help you out. I was able to purchase a single battery from them when mine crapped out.

Pity. The E-Max tanks are REALLY good! It's the only bottom coil tank (that I've tried) that isn't cool-ish to me.

And funnily enough...I actually prefer a cooler vape! But while I've tried assorted clearos, and they were not totally unfortunate (in my opinion) I just don't "take" to them, preferring carto tanks for flavor , vapor and no fuss maintenance. Ah well. Perhaps I might try asking the owner about the possibility of buying just the battery. I love the green!

Here's another great under $40 bucks deal from MV, (just in time for Christmas!).... I'm totally lovin' my new VV ieE-Max TWIST Kit. It's a 900 Mah "VARIABLE VOLTAGE" Battery and I haven't been able to put this thing down all day! It rocks my 70/30 PG/VG juices at 4 volts. Now we all know that describing one's vaping experience is subjective, but, For me, vaping is all about tasting your juices... along with awesome throat hit and tons of vapor. (The closer to a real cigarette experience you can obtain without being a real cigarette is ideal... lol).. but! we all know how elusive those qualities are to find in this overwhelming sea of vaping gear we're navigating nowadays... so, I'm just telling anyone whose still hesitant about trying an E-Max Starter Kit, (or giving one for Christmas), NOW is the time to get one. I don't care WHO you are or what you currently vape.... (I own EVERYTHING in the Vape World except a ProVari, so I say this with complete confidence)... you will LOVE MV's E-Max TWIST, along with all of the other goodies thrown in for good measure. Uhmmmm.... lemme see, I got a Battery, and E-Tank with a 2.5 coil... a charger, needle nose liquid bottle, 10 ml bottle of liquid - your choice, (Their Peach is to die for!), and a hard carrying case.... for $39.95. Everything is top quality... the battery has a buttery velvet finish to it. As I've said before, no cons to MV Products. IMHO...

In case I left something out or you need more info, hit this link up; E-MAX VV TWIST

Oh yeah! I've uploaded my E-Max TWIST so everyone can see for themselves just how SEXY :hubba: this thing is. I don't have the E-Max Tank on it in this Photo, but one of MV's JK65 see through 2 ml clearos.... The center tube is molded to the drip tip with a full flute from the sealed coil to the top. You can read more about these here; TANKS & COILS

DSCN4309.jpg

(Important note: All of MV's Kits will work with all eGo & most 510 threading).

... If I don't see all of you before Christmas, then "Merry Christmas" to all! :smokie:

Thanks for that. Just ordered one too, along with some liquid. They are out of coils though, but I have enough for a while. Love my e-max kit so I know I'll love this too.

You're going to love the way the flavor of your juices just seem to come alive when you discover your Variable Voltage sweet spot. Mine is 4 volts. ;)
