Thank you! I was looking at #57. Glad to hear I don't need to go so small. Did you do a smaller pilot hole or just a one shot? How does the #54 do with pure vg? How does it compare to the hole in an oem bf cyclone?

Sorry to quote myself like a pompous ......

Edited for future reference: the stock bottom hole(juice inlet) in a BF Cyclone is the same diameter as #54 drill bit, I'm going to massage it slightly with a #53 for slightly better high vg flow.

Atomics will be done with #53 with the likely hood of a#51 or #52 in the future.

I'm basically rolling my entire RDA fleet over to the Ehpro Atomic...the quality, the adaptability (they're actually not bad running a single coil either), good diameter (this is obviously taste subjective but the chamber size imo is about perfect), super easy to build with lots of room to experiment, easy to bf (slot or drill), as far as availability goes, ebay is swimming in them, which drives the final (and most important) point...$25?...how can you go wrong?

Are you my brother?? That was my plan with the new atomic order last weekend. On the very bright side there will be 6 Afc Bf Cyclones (4 of which are brand new)up for grabs if all goes well. I haven't even opened the bag that contains my Origen V2 either. All will be available very soon.

Please PM me when you decide to unload the cyclones, I'd like to get one.

i think Robert recently posted he will have a BF atomic soon...

They look pretty good on an LP...that'd be great if Rob offered it...it would be a good choice from just a "damn good RDA" perspective. I may be wrong, but I doubt he would though...there's 2 caveats with the Ehpro Atomic:
1. You can't sell it on the classy's if you don't like it...because it's "branded" it's viewed as counterfeit...(pfft)*,
2. What we do and what Rob can legitimately do are 2 different things. From my short experience, Rob's a pretty stand up "high road" kinda guy...how would it look if one manufacturer offered for sale a counterfeit of another manufacturer's product?...he would have to go to MCV Philippines and secured a stock of bf'd originals, of course he wouldn't have to get many (if he even could) because most of us couldn't afford it.

or...he could negate the "branding" issue by making different AFC rings to fit the Ehpro (maybe in brass, copper, solid platinum...), there you go! problem solved!

*sorry moderators, but as the boutique "high end" boys cut their own throats shorting their market to create artificial demand, eventually there won't be a whole lot left of what you'll be able to sell on the classy's with that particular rule in place...sooner or later the "off-shores" will figure that out and ditch the branding, then what?...no more 1:1's?...sorry, "soap boxing" again...man I'm bitter

Ok folks, got a couple of the Atomic clones to try out. I dont have a drill press so I will be trying the dremel/slotting method. Does the center post just press out? Should I push it out from the bottom/connector side? Also, has anyone tried simply notching the insulator on these? I've seen that done on other attys as well. The wire post holes seem really small as well, wondering how hard it would be to make those larger with the rotary tool? Finally, these both really smell like machine oil. Is there a good way to clean them off? Sorry for the barrage of questions but want to have a decent game plan before I start mucking things up.
