I'm remembering that someone has an RPG - Krisma or Bamrz, maybe? From the website it's hard to see what color the RPG is. The site says it's purple-gray. Huh? Looks more gray or maybe mauve, to me - but I'm looking through an iPad. Will whomever has it please describe? Thanks!

I have one and it's beautiful. Let me go find a nice pic for you

My pleasure, Ms. LB. This is the closest I'm able to get to actual color, but even it is slightly misleading. It looks darker there than it is.

The RPG was the first coloured one I lusted after. It seems so classically refined and understated but it goes with everything. The Lilla monster is the next one on my list. :p
Lila is pretty. I have a Lila Monster, a Paua Blue (lovingly referred to as Le BBB), and just, finally! ordered a Ratbald. I don't need another BB, but the RPG calls to me. Perhaps for Christmas ...

I gave a Lila to my SIL as an incentive to quit smoking. She's a horse person - spends her days in barns, rings and around the farm, and needed something that could stand up to her lifestyle. I'm delighted to say that she successfully transitioned! I credit DD and Lila Monster :)

Yes I did get the Oscar Mike. I really wanted the TMNBB but was unable to spend the little extra to get it. Maybe Doug Dino might be able to help me later. Now I have to see what I'm able to do so that when I have the chance I can get the one I kick myself for not being able to get when I seen it. ONE day the BRPG will be in my hands.

The fancy buttons are wasted on me. I add buttons that extrude so that I can fire it easily. :)

DD just a thought, it might help if we had just a list of each shot when you say where the hits and misses were, just make a list of what each shot was, like D12, B4 etc

I think i get what you're sayn'... can do (if i understood.. think i did.... maybe..)

For the new folks playing.......if you set up an excel spreadsheet......it really helps to keep track of your game board, unless you wanna draw one out on paper. Also, since excel has the numbers going length wise, and we can add letters across the top, could we do the official board that way purdy pwease??

That's a big nope for the letter on the top, but i did make you guys a printable battle sheet doober thingy... let's see if i still know how to link to things.....

yup, still do... neat.

no clue on the excel, never used it.. but i have a hard time believing Microsoft would distribute it without a proper battle ship template... what else would it be good for?

@Doug Dino . . . If there is something I can do - I would be willing to assist . . . Could even make a grid - like I did during the impromptu "Pillaz's" game - So "You" and others can keep track of who did what and when if Ya' like . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)
Thanks Uncle, but i got er done.. I needed the master board in a program I could easily update so i ran will adobe illustrator for it (still would rather have my white board back though). Your board looked great, just don't know what software you drew it in... but i did take some design elements from yours and added a symbol guide to the bottom.

I am not sure but I think it is some kind of plastic cover over the carbon fiber, maybe Mr. DD can answer that?
that's a little tricky to explain, because with carbon fiber the finish is actually the very beginning. The flat shiny surface is a part of the impregnation system.. ewwwww... and is the same resin that is used to stiffen the carbon fiber throughout.

So what happens is they start with a large flat slab of glass, and apply a layer of the resin to the surface, THIS is what becomes the final finish. After that layer is down, the carbon fabric is laid on top, and under a vacuum additional resin is sucked through the lay up replacing all (mostly) the air... well... because the thin initial layer was there first, there is no air to replace and this leaves a dead flat surface. HOW thin it is, is unfortunately impossible to tell as the fabric has varying dimension to it. Little scratches can be taken out with light buffing compound (we use a very fine automotive compound if we need to), but too much buffing will do two things... First is that the surface in not 100% flat, it will have micro air pockets in it (remember i said MOSTLY all the air, as a true 100% vacuum is (near) impossible to achieve on earth. So too much polishing will attack and exacerbate the pockets. The second is that you could polish down too the carbon fiber itself, this would just make the surface dull in that area.... It may look good if the entire surface was all buffed down to fiber itself... Sorry.. this was a little tough to explain, but in short, a quick polish with a fine compound will help it as much as it can, and WILL get rid of slight scratches, but you can go to far...

That's what I thought you would say. :(
