I really liked the look of the old style, especially the opaque delrin tank, with the ball valve. Were they particularly prone to failure, or was there another reason that design was discontinued?
I still use my delrin every day with the bridge in it. ( I broke the glass on my boro tank) But I use a ink refilling syringe to fill it.

@DPLongo22 sorry about missing your birthday. But Happy Belated Birthday to you. I wish I would've been nice to meet with you when I was there in Mass.

I've been off here since Father's Day trying to deal with my own health issues. Then we had the forest fire that was close to us. I like the smell of a campfire. But not when the whole house smells like it.
I'm going to have to take apart the Rev 4 Boro and give it a full washing. Then after it dries reassemble checking to make sure the bevel is on the glass. Been having to use the toothpick to keep oring in place.

Not at all, @aarhus. Exactly the opposite, in fact. I was certain they WOULD eventually fail, and got plenty of backups, yet I'm still using the original ones I got when they first came out.

What was that - 2013? I think so.

I'm sorry to hear that, Bush, and thank you. My company has an operation in AZ, and we were heavily impacted by the fires, but nowhere near what you've been through. Is everything OK for you now?

If you don't see the bevel, pop off a note (or give DD & Co. a call on The Hotline listed on their site). They'll fix you up right-quick.

OK, BB Part III. This time not the BB itself, but the Ohman Uno RBA.

I can't use it. Not because it doesn't work--Oh no!! It works. Too well.

I slapped 10 wraps NI200 32g wire (10 wraps) @ nominal 0.2 ohm at 2.5mm and stuffed it with Japanese cotton. The build took less than 2 minutes. Popped it in the tank, filled it with juice, kept the temp at standard 450F, and vaped.

Direct lung vape and oceans of vapor. I mean we're talking a fog cannon, here. And the taste--sublime.

But that's the problem. I can't generate that much fog at work on in the sitting room with the family around.... so I popped it out and put the carto back in.

I needz to get me some more tanks so that I can use this when I'm alone.

But the taste... my word. I vape unflavored, but that doesn't mean there's no taste. While the cartos aren't bad, this is just..... words fail me, they really do.

I'm a goin' for some tanks come Saturday. Dat's fo shure!

I believe that everyone wanted to SEE their inserts in the B Box tanks (after kartos went by the wayside for most). The delrins are marvelous, and certainly a viable option (more than viable <ahemDPLahem>) to some!
