Yes, I saw that....I guess my question is, why is the bottom completely open on mine? I cannot tell what his positive pin looks like. Literally...mine when assembled is wide open in the bottom. I have not installed a coil yet, as it does not make intuitive sense how the eliquid will not come pouring out the bottom?

With cotton it'll work. Load the coil, and absolutely stuff the openings with cotton, and it won't leak at all. Leave one millimeter gap at the feeding holes, however, and all bets are off.

I tried a 3mm coil and got into all sorts of trouble. I couldn't get the cotton to fan out properly and cover the holes. 2.5mm was the charm. I've had a build in there for more than a week, with the BB in my back pocket. No leaks. For info, I'm vaping a 60/40 clear pg/vg mixture.

The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the UNO is really airy, even with the o-ring mounted on the bottom. I prefer MTL, but other than that it works very well.

I thought I'd chime in regarding the different bridges/coil adapters. I have the Billet Bridge, the Nautilus Bridge and the Kangaroo. Each one is distinctly different and I like them all. I do, however, prefer the Nautilus over the BVC, for the simple reason that BVC coils don't last more than a week with my vaping style. I start noticing a distinct flavor degradation about 5 days into the coil's life. When I remove the used coil, it's completely gunked up on the inside. With Nautilus coils, I easily get anywhere between 12-14 days. Of course, YMMV.

Interesting enough, and pursuant to some of my earlier comments, I have the exact opposite experiences. The BVC's in my four Bridges get close to two weeks (all), yet I find myself changing Nauti coils (tanks & Kabuki) weekly at most. These human taste buds of ours sure are funny things.

I say, find the one that tastes the best to you, then use it. I change coils/wicks etc. when I start to detect flavor degradation. Nothing fancy, no math, no logic.

"Yuk. Change it."

A simple man, I.

Interesting - I'm getting 3-4 weeks at a minimum (120ml+) from my BVCs - that's with the NLV e-liquids... and as DPLongo said, change it when the taste goes south. :)

I know a lot of people like the UNO, myself it is the biggest PIA of anything I have ever tried in my BB. I just this morning tried it again, first I tried a vertical coil, because I need the practice on them, it failed but that was my fault, it ended up all mangled. The second one horizontal was perfect, it still would not fire. I put a BVC Bridge in the BB just to make sure the BB was working okay, and it works fine. I honestly think the problem is with the design of the pin and insulator, I have tried the pin out of the ego one thing and it is no better. My coils are around 2 ohms, I know that is not the problem. These are going into a drawer, most likely to be never used again.

Even with the finicky build "deck" I never had issues building it my only complaint was I didn't get the greatest of flavor out of it. I tried 6 different builds with different wires/gauges and just couldn't get what i wanted out of it. I absolutely love the racing, I get a nice warm dense flavorful vape out of it. I have two now and everything else just sits there being neglected.

I haven't built them, yet. They've been sitting, patiently, waiting for me to get my act in gear. What build are you finding is best? I know taste is something-or-other, but I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts! TIA :)

Just built my Uno for the first time and it's seems very loose when sliding it into the BB Boro tank. Surprisingly it didn't leak once I filled the tank but after a few pulls it started leaking from the bottom where it makes contact with the BB so I unscrewed my drip tip (Ohman hybrid threaded) and thought it was done unscrewing so I lifted it to pull out and the uno came out still attached to the drip tip?! I have an in'ax carto and it is a much tighter fit when inserting into tank? Any thoughts? How easily does your Uno slide into tank and why am I experiencing the leaking from the bottom?

Ok here is an update to my prior post. As far as leaking, my initial build didn't not have enough cotton so the juice was flooding the tank and coming out of the hole at the bottom. I rewicked the same build and really crammed some cotton in there, folding the cotton back over itself and I have had zero leaks.

As far as the hybrid threaded DT, it naturally wants to put the tank out with it when unscrewed completely. I just put my needle nose tweezers between one of the holes on the base of the Uno and unscrew the DT. This prevented it from spinning with the tip.

Hope this helps someone. The flavor is incredible and really puts out a surprising amount of vapor. 8-9 wraps of 28 gauge Kanthal @ 1.35 ohm.

Airflow is quite airy as others have said. I did put on the o-ring which helped a bit to tighten the draw but I find using my palm to cover the air holes slightly works even better!

Just picked up the Siluro from the classifieds so I am excited to have a back up just need another tank.

The in'ax I just couldn't get a proper build on so if anyone wants to take it off my hands, contact me. Only had two builds put in it.
