Ok here is an update to my prior post. As far as leaking, my initial build didn't not have enough cotton so the juice was flooding the tank and coming out of the hole at the bottom. I rewicked the same build and really crammed some cotton in there, folding the cotton back over itself and I have had zero leaks.

<snip>

Hope this helps someone. The flavor is incredible and really puts out a surprising amount of vapor. 8-9 wraps of 28 gauge Kanthal @ 1.35 ohm.

Airflow is quite airy as others have said. I did put on the o-ring which helped a bit to tighten the draw but I find using my palm to cover the air holes slightly works even better!

<snip>

The in'ax I just couldn't get a proper build on so if anyone wants to take it off my hands, contact me. Only had two builds put in it.

Similar to your experience, I've settled on the UNO (for now). That's going on vacation with me (along with a couple of backup cartos, BVC's etc).

I've noticed one thing that's funny, and not particular to the UNO, but all builds. If a measure a build with an ohmmeter or a multimeter, say 2.3 ohm, when it's on the DNA 40, it invariably measures lower--in this case 1.8. This is measured cold, by the way. It drops further when it's hot, of course.

WRT to the In'ax, I've actually gotten it to work quite well, with the feed and coils. It took 6 builds to get there, but unfortunately the taste just isn't there. I'm vaping unflavored, which normally works on the gennies, but in this case I just can't get it to where I get that aaaaaaaaahh... taste. There's a Mistery on the way to me as well, and I hope I'll have better luck there. I really would like a leak-free gennie in a BB.

I hope it works so that I'll end up with the Mistery in my Kürbis and the UNO in my Rat Black. Man, I'm spending more on the RBAs than I am on the BB's themselves

The in'ax really has me upset. I had originally wanted an Uno. I was lucky enough to score a Kurbis 2 weeks ago but the Uno was OOS. I contacted Ohman on FB as I was advised to do so. I hadn't heard back from him and had already gotten a shipping notice from BBV so I panicked and ordered the in'ax. It would have pained me to have the BB in hand with no tank for it!

Bret literally contacted me a few hours after I had already place the order for the in'ax. Crap! I wanted a Hybrid tip from him anyways so I figured I'd just order the Uno anyways as a back up.

The bright side is I have the Uno rocking and rolling now and the flavor is great! But at this point the in'ax is seeming like a $90 mistake!

I now have a Siluro on the way to me as well. When will the madness end!! I need another Boro tank.. Or maybe another BB!

I haven't built them, yet. They've been sitting, patiently, waiting for me to get my act in gear. What build are you finding is best? I know taste is something-or-other, but I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts! TIA :)
my favorite was 9 spaced wraps 2.5mm 26g kanthal. This was the best flavor I could get with it.

Managed to grab my first BB on Saturday. Picked the bronze and grabbed a roo, a spare tank, nautilus bridge, and a set of plates. Also managed to snag a hellfire whistle tip yesterday morning.

For those of you that have a roo, have you tried the Atom vapes Gclapton Cermaic coils? If so, how do they compare to the .9Ω kanthal ccells?

Congrats! Thats the Dober one right? Beautiful color, saw the replacement Kirinite doors and thought to myself how awesome that setup would look. Post pictures when you get it! I will try to post a picture of my baby here soon too!

What is a Pangu Tank?:?:

KAS

A new tank by kanger. But for all its clever marketing its a fandangled carto tank. I was looking at the cartos, no 510 threads and wondered how I could make them work in the BB

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Thank you, HB. What a FANTASTIC contributor to our vape world...... I'm saddened.

When will the madness end!!

Ummm. It won't. ;)

Krisma, updates please, if you play around with the Pangu Wangu thingu. I don't believe it's a karto tho. It's just a very tall/long replaceable koyer, no? Or maybe it IS part karto and part koil. A KOI-TO.

Whateves. I'm tired.

Scored a Dober last weekend and picked up a Uno with it... have been reading mixed things about the Uno though.

I can't find any good build videos on YouTube to check out. Anyone here have any build recommendations for someone who normally vapes warm to hot and prefers an open to restricted lung inhale? 1.0 to 0.5 ohm (i'm guessing for the BB)

Also - I keep hearing about this BilletBridge Racing to allow the use of the Kanger ST RBA head. Is it any good? I cannot for the life of me find it anywhere in the USA. Where does one buy one in the states?

kewl!!

Today is a sad day indeed, as we received word that Leo of ByLeo, father to Billie-cig, has passed away.

Members of our community are leaving their condolences on the ByLeo thread here:

I hate hearing this, very sad news indeed! Thanks for the link!!

I'm not sure that it's available in the states. I got them at Atmistique.gr. Konstaninos makes them. Shipping is by DHL, and is very fast!

Do you mind sharing with me your build on the in'ax carto?

It's funny because I just got a in'ax mk3 genesis and I built it yesterday for the first time and I was having bad thoughts when seeing the build deck was the exact same as the carto version. I battled hot spots and popped coils for over an hour but once I finnaly got it right it delivers great flavor. No dry hits at all. I really need the threaded center post because I HATE working with those included caps that trap the wire.

See my post on the previous page #12779.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to load up the cotton in the two wickholes. I cut the cotton at least a 1/4 inch beyond the edge of the wickhole. First I pressed down the cotton that was at the edge then I put some juice on entire wick, just enough to saturate and make it easier to work with then I folded the pieces that were hanging over back on top of the wick and even a tad inside the chamber beside the coil.

This method did the trick for me. I used a 2.5mm rod for the coil if that helps. I recall reading somewhere that any bigger and you could run into issues. I cannot vouch for that but the 2.5mm is doing its job!

Hope this helps and let us know how it turns out!
