For those of you guys that use the Rev 3's, my last 2 order's from RTD for the black AW 16340 batteries, have measured around 34.5 mm in length. It seems as though AW has corrected the problem with them. The ones I got from them before around a year ago, were around 35.5 mm long. I bought 8 last month, and 8 this month, they all measured the same. :)

Hey KAS - is it possible your contacts just compressed? Mine have, and the batteries fit (tight but they fit). The reason I ask is that Randy still has a disclaimer on his site (although he changed it from the previous one). I was going to let my kids know but was wondering if you measured them out? The should be 34-35 to fit the 16340 spec.

I may send him another email too because I remember he was slow to update in adding the original much-needed disclaimer. I don't want the children (PROTECT THE CHILDREN!) spending money unless I'm certain the batteries are to spec.

Aaaaaaand my Odis Flow package ended up at the Chicago ISC - just my luck! The expected delivery date has already been pushed back by a day to August 3. Based on my previous experience, it'll end up sitting there for a week with no movement.

@HBcorpse how's your tracking looking?

I have a set of manual caliper's, I measured them myself, they are not digital ones, they show right at 34.5 mm. I have not talked to RTD about them, I just took a chance and ordered them and was pleasantly surprised. I am sure that my contacts have been compressed, because I used the longer batteries even though they were too long, I just pried them out.

I know they have not updated their statement about them, I did order some of the red ones a month ago just in case the black ones did not work. If you are nervous about getting them, I would just e-mail them. :|

Thank you, sir. Now that I know you measured them out with calipers, that's good enough for me.

I am temped to order more of the black aw's again, and just stock up on them. I would definitely use them, but I have 2 daily carry BB's, and I have 4 batteries reserved for use in each one to swap when needed. The other 8 were for a back up set, I don't really need a set of batteries for all my BB's, just the ones that are being used. If I had 4 batteries for each Rev 3 that I own I think I would need 48 of them.

When I was using them very heavily I kept six sets running, supporting three BBs in use. I would take two BBs and two backup battery sets to work each day. Never had a problem with that setup, and never ran short at night.

The three kids that use them all carry one BB and two backup sets daily.

...and I just emailed all three kids so thank you. They've all been using the IMRENs but none are thrilled with them. They were "OK" for me too.

No problem, I had bookmarked several other battery alternatives, and Imrens were one of them.

Although I placed my order before you, your shipment was processed through Chicago ISC 12 hours before mine. In fact, mine hasn't even been scanned at the international distribution center. So much for expedited shipping!

I would contact W&W and ask for a refund of the difference maybe?

I mean, by all rights, yours should be to you much sooner since you're on the Northern East Coast...and I'm on the Southern West Coast...

I don't know if it's worth the trouble over a couple of bucks. However, I no longer see the point of paying extra for expedited shipping from W&W. There still hasn't been any movement on my package - I certainly hope I didn't win the Chicago USPS lottery twice in a row!

Anyone using the Flow yet? I grabbed it on Saturday and threw in a simple 24ga kanthal build into it. The flavour is excellent, building is relatively simple, and so far I've had no leaking or dry hits.
A few things I feel need to be said about this atty:

- the draw is tight. I've been using an Exocet and Kanger RBA for the past year, and I was expecting the Flow to have comparable airflow. It's a nice level of airflow for folks looking for a very restricted lung hit, or a pretty damn decent MTL. I can't really say this is a negative... It's just not what I expected with the size of airflow and postless deck.

- the grub screws are a bad idea. I can't believe these little Allen key grub screws are being utilized for this. I'm pretty certain one is already stripped (first build,) and I fear I may not be able to actually remove the screw. I guess I'll see when I rebuild, but I've got a bad feeling about it. Two extra screws are included in the box, and if I did already strip one I'll be contacting Odis about it.

BUT!!! The flavour is better than the Exo or the Insider. Far better.

Can anyone tell me how tall the No Bull Shiz Tip drip tip is? My son is loving the BB but hates his face touches the BB (he's not digging the short drip tips).

About 14mm. I don't like short d/t's either, and this one is fine.

I hate when my mustache hairs get caught in drip tip adapter...hurts like a mother [blank]er...
