Actually it's the Ratbald with the Pearl button... there will be some on Saturday, but not as many as we typically do.... This is because we were looking for some clamps in my old shop and found that little stash of brass... so we made that little run of inner plates with it... and then we made some brass buttons too.. So the build with our black boxes got a few with that combo...

Those are yummy, DD of BB! Same kwestion as the downunder lass...... tarnish magnet?

Even entered a few of the first "DD" Trivia contest to hopefully WIN one too (I just couldn't get "My" head around the "Trivia") . . .

that was a tough contest... I loved it but, oh man, come'in up with stuff that google can't answer, that was a lot harder than i anticipated.. I'm liking this one for the nature of it, the board is set, everyone knows where they are, and it just kinda plays out...

I wish we had like a virtual dice roller, that would open up a few doors..

Matter of fact, discussed the "Billet Box" when they first came out with a few of "My" ECF Friends that are already here (they were lucky enough to get one back then) . . . SO - When I read about this contest in another thread, I RAN OVER (THANKS for switching it up "DD" . . . ) to try once more to WIN a "Billet Box" . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I know. I was tracking the thread from the git-go (Day 1, actually), even though I didn't bite until almost a year later. Typical me.

But in THIS case I just meant, keep you around for the rest of the contest. Not that we wouldn't LOVE to see you stay longer, but we'd HATE to lose you before it was over. Like I said, the daily summaries are... yeah, that.

nope, not coated.. they an't quite done or i'd post a pic, but we landed on a fine brushed finish with slightly tapered sides on the button.. we have a few out in the world with brass buttons and they will get polished over time with use.. I suppose they would tarnish/patina if the button wasn't pushed for a long while, as for smelling metallic, no.. i sniffed one...

They have the downloads. You could incorporate it in your game I would think. Unless ECF didn't allow it. They're just Java script. Youl'd have to have Java to use them but I think everyone has Java.
