that would be kewl. I think some folks said there is a google hangout app for tablets etc but don't quote me on that

Tell her to make sure her microphone is plugged in all the way and turned on. If she has a built in mike check that it is turned on.
Also make sure it's enabled: Control panel, sound, microphone, properties, this device is enabled

we got it fixed. It was in the settings, but she tried two of em, but finally tried the 3rd one, and it worked. Thanks hun

Isaac talked me into getting a camera with a built in mike so I could join him and another guy in their Skype video conversations. I think we did it once or twice and the thing hasn't been used since except to take picks of ecigs.
