I've seen a few BB on the Facebook groups with brass buttons, but I can't seem to find who made them

Hey AR - post the question in the modder's group. Someone there will know. Probably either Bret, Pacheco or Quoc would be my best guesses.

Does anyone use anything to protect the outside of their BB ? If so what ? I have a problem with dropping things a lot.. lol.. and would rather it not get all scratched up.

I only wrap my raw one, Fig. The anodized ones I prefer naked. If they scratch, so be it.

But you can use the same wraps (Jwraps, Vaporskinz, etc.) on them if you'd like.

I woke up from one of my naps a little while ago, and guess what I found sitting on my nightstand? vape mail!

The Billet Bridge is so easy to use, and it works beautifully!
YAHOO, I'm so happy for that. I'm keeping you in my prayers and hope your back to doing what your name, (Dancing) says soon.

i had not found it yet today, but thanks for figuring it out for me! im considering a rat black/brass button/brass jmk as a new home for my boroblack, or ordering damascus panels and button for my silver BB and polishing the whole outside while the panels are off, would be easy without the carbon fiber to deal with

My pleasure, and it sounds pretty sweet. Everything is out there for you.

And me? I like the Billet Box. It's about as close to perfection as a mod can get (for me).

Push button.
Vape.
Grunt.
Repeat.

Thanks so much for the kind Vapeversary wishes. It was a wonderful day, all the way round. Here's to many more!

PS - I like the Billet Box, too -- but I usually do Push button, Vape, Sigh, Repeat ...

It's a wonderful life. :)

Well strings... At the risk of watching them sell out before I can afford them, versa mods inc made some. Pricy though. Has anyone tried polishing the outside of an anodized BB?

Never. My 13 month old one looks almost as good today as the day I got it. And I do NOT baby it. Not at ALL.

i wish i could say the same for mine, and its part of my wanting a second one, mine goes to work with me where i climb around rocks, build stone walls, pour concrete ect. i try hard to keep it nice but its got some light scratches, and a ding next to the button, its perfect for work but i want a flawless one for at home and date night type use.

also i had an issue with dirt getting in my drip tip for a long time, i found bolt caps at the hardware store that come in many sizes, they will stretch to cover the drip tip and keep the dirt out

Ouch.

My desk job provides much less of a challenge. :-(

as a testament to the durability of a billet box and the anodized finish it has held to an environment that ruins things quickly. i never would have put a polished BB through daily use like this, it wouldnt be pretty. The BB is the only mod i know of that could handle the abuse that being in my pocket dishes out.
