Polishing is something I know a bit about. And polishing an anodized piece of aluminum (unless you're VERY careful) isn't likelt to turn out too well
I have polished many different metals stones woods ect.. Why would anodized aluminum be different?

Because anodizing isn't a surface to produce a shine. It is very porous therein absorbing light instead of refecting more light like a solid metal, wood, or painted surface. some woods won't polish either for the same reason. You could always clear coat it and buff that to a shine.

Thanks Longo!

BTW, I got a tracking for the IN'AX Carto!!! I can't wait to try it, I'll post my results when I do...

My pleasure! And we'll be waiting to hear...

That's another Boro only one, correct? I don't do glass, but I still hope it's good.

Sweet! I'll be sending him a PM for sure. Thanks again. (Brass button right???)

The Carto is the one I posted last week, the Athea SS mesh wick carto. It fits any 35mm carto tank, including ANY BB tank, delrin or not!!! From what I've been reading, it should bring some old carto tanks back to life.

I'm excited to give SS mesh wicking a go. I think it'll suit my new ADV very well, the Wakonda! The Wakonda is tearing through my BVC's like no tomorrow so a rebuildable was inevitable.

RIGHT! The one with all the do-dads!!! I remember. I've been hearing about it forever, but forgot which it was.

And if it is capable of bringing some of my old tanks out of storage, I might be interested. I tried that other thing (@Katdarling is still using hers) but it didn't work out for me. I can't remember the name of it now...

The Wakonda sounds like a girl I dated in high school. :D

The Bridge and BVCs are still working great. I think I'm in love.

Kat, thanks for the slotted cartos and the eliquid. You must have done some research on me to know that I love sweet coffee vapes and that Caramel Macchiato is the flavor the got me off and kept me off cigarettes. Or, an incredibly lucky guess.

The Cosmic Charlie's is yummy and makes so much vapor! It must be a higher VG percentage than I'm used to. Lots and lots of vapor!

My daughter tasted it and said that she might actually be successful at vaping in place of smoking with yummy flavors like that! And, she's such a light smoker that she could afford the more expensive juices that heavy smokers like me can't.

Getting a little better each day (most days anyway). I'm starting to actually be able to breath and sleep ok. Starting to get off my .... and do piddly little things around the house. I just have to be very careful and pace myself. Sleep when I need to. Eat when I need to.

I refuse to overdo it and risk going back to the hospital again!

Thank you all so much for caring and for making this experience a little more pleasant. The warm fuzzies help a lot. And, vape mail is always fun too.

You couldn't have brought a bigger smile to my face, Dancin' Lady!!!! I'm thrilled you're so happy with all your new goodies. And were those flavor choices great research, or a lucky guess....... dunno. GUESS! :D

(The Cosmic Charlie's is a 60/40 VG/PG blend.)

For me the best part of all of this is that you're doing so much better and taking such good care of yourself. That, in itself, is inspiration. So, thank you!

Hugs to everyone~

After having to go back into the hospital a second time, my attitude towards recovery is a lot more serious than it was the first time. I will not go back!!!!!

Glad you're doing better Dancing and you're getting your vaping gear.

I love coffee and coconut macaroon mixed together.
I'm trying to see if I can get one of these made with my 5cardstud style for my Billet Box. I think they're great. I hope she can do it.

Got it, Kat. I got it. Loud and klear. Silly girl...

DH - THRILLED that you're liking the Bridge, and even more that you're bound & determined to stay away. Good job, and keep up the great work.

J5: If your lady can't, there's a guy on FB who probably CAN. Pretty creative guy named Pacheco, who has done some marvelous BB cases.

Ya it's not paint and I think that's where people make their mistake. it's actually part of the metal.
I never wanted to polish the anodizing, I know that won't work, my intent was to polish it the way I would anything else, sand paper starting at probably 400 grit to remove the anodizing and finish at 5000 followed by a buffing. How have other people tried to do this?
