Why don't you need to use NR-R wire? The Diver 2 has a ceramic cup, right? Doesn't it need NR-R wire?

Agree I thought NR-N- NR was required. You can use without but you run the risk of melting the little orings on the clone or insulator on the genuine. Same with the Sophia

I'm a bit worried about the diver - Haven't had good luck with these ceramic cups (always had gurgling issues with the Rose), but am determined to try with the Diver 2 - at least I don't have to use NR-R wire. Will provide an update once I get it setup in the Billet Box.

F2V

I thought the Diver's (both of them) required the NR-R-NR wire, the Sophia V1 used them with the ceramic cups. I just got tired of messing with them. I am going to be off next week so I just might try to play around with them again, they did provide a really good vape, I just liked them better in a carto tank then in the BB. I still like the bridge just fine but if I am going to stock up on BB's, I would end up spending a lot of cash on the coils, and if the FDA bans every thing next year, I wont be able to get the coils anyway. My coil is still going strong, I had a slight problem, not sure what happened, but somehow it was not making contact with the battery, but it was my fault I guess, moved it around a bit, and good to go.:)

You are correct - my mistake as NR-R wire is needed on the Diver V1 and V2. It is the Sophia V2 that doesn't need the NR-R wire. Here is Qorax Review - 3 minutes into the video.

Wow, I've been offline for several days...... how great it was to have 4 pages here to catch up on!! There was a time it would have been 4 posts if that!! So great to see everyone posting!

But on another note I got my green BBox from Kentastic and the wife is tickled to death with it!
Wahooooooo!!!! so happy she loves it!! But she needs to keep the ratblack as backup!

jBL8ezz.png

I thought I posted this earlier but couldn't find it so sorry if this is a double post.
awwwwww that's so purdy! Merry Christmas to you too sweetie!!!

Air is similar, if not slightly looser than the bridge. Nice and smooth with just a bit of resistance to remind you it's there.

Built 12 wraps of 28 gauge a1 on what I think is a 2.5mm mandrel.

This produces slightly more vapor than the bridge with an INTENSE flavor.
kewl! But wow, that's insane it was too much flavor with her juice. What flavor is it?

Well good news, I did get an email back from Andrew W. of AW Batteries and looks like things will be fixed and back to normal for the AW RCR123 protected we use.
that's fantastic!!!!!!! So glad you contacted him!!

This calls for a celebration, dontchya think? Let's get another. What's your preference?

Drambuie on ice please....... make it a double! Oh wait.......did you mean another BB??

USPS site indicates a Christmas Eve arrival . I really hope this is true :w00t:
Wahooooooo!!! Welcome to the fam!! Occasionally I get a pkg the day before tracking indicates, so I hope that happens for you and it comes today!!! Although Christmas eve would be a perfect day for it!

Besides all of this, Randy goes on to mention that he has been trying to purchase a "Billet Box" so he could see for himself why there is a problem with the batteries, however has not been able to get one whenever he's tried. ( OH MY . . .Must have been caught up in the frenzy . . . But I bet he hasn't looked recently . . . :D )

So all in all - IMO - the Man is trying, especially to provide the best customer service he can to the "Billet Boxers" . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)
Wow, that is really going above and beyond!! What an amazing guy!! Thanks for staying on top of this Uncle, and keeping us informed!!

To all my wonderful BB family........

Nope. :D

That's why we never went for the Sophia (v1 or 2) or the diver.

Wife wouldn't even so much as ask the local pharmacies for spent/trash disposable cameras so I could make a tsaf.

Flavor West Ecto Cooler @ 10% flavoring.

Wanted to wish my fellow BBr's a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New-Year!!!, and a big thanks to all the little BB Elves making all of the Super-Rad Billet Boxes. You guy's ROCK!

About the UNO, it's awesome. Super easy to build, great vape and wonderful flavor. It's kinda airy but easily remedied with the supplied o-rings to block the airflow.

"Pending approval" - he usually works pretty quickly, but I don't know if he has holiday distractions. You'll be in soon though.

Inside it you will find the Uno, along with via the link that KAS posted.

Just as a FYI, the name of the group is: "OHMAN....Not another group."

Just so you know, the Sophia V2 uses regular Kanthal wire. :)

KAS
Yes

I'm familiar.

Though due to engineering, hot leg concerns dictate the recommendation for still using nr/r/nr wire.

IME, such heat concerns typically lead to muted taste when not alleviated/addressed.

The wife is very much accustomed to very high flavor atties. She's also not interested in nr/r/nr.

So as much as the Sophia (s) appeal to me as rebuildable cartos, the fact that they don't appeal to the person that could use them makes it a moot point.

I do want to make time to give a good overview of sorts for the Uno. If this time coincides with a time I may be able to pry the BB from the wifes cold, dead clutches, I'll be sure to post.
