I have not ordered one, I am scared to, I have not seen any pics or nuffin.

KAS

The first pic is all pieces disassembled.

Second pic is a side shot. Notice the grommet and pin for the build piece. Super easy to build.

(sorry for the potato pics)

Forgive me if I am missing something but isn't this the same as the diver without the ceramic cup.

I also presume the cotton wick is exposed to the eliquid and could pull out when playing with the device. So only safe and secure in a boro tank. (Eg naturevapes) cartos

I can't comment on the diver as I've never owned one.

As for the wick, I just tuck it inside the chamber similar to the way I build my subtank mini coils. I cut the wick at the end of the barrel and stuff back inside with care. I'm pretty sure this would allow the use in standard BB tanks as the wick isn't really hanging out. I'll post a pic when I rebuild it.

Thanks very much, spacelord! I just ordered an Uno and am clueless. Here's how clueless I am: where do the coil legs go?

Yeah, you can laugh. I never said I was a particularly clever bird! :)

Similar to a kanger coil head rebuild. One in through the insulator (between pin and insulator) and one between the base and the insulator. YouTube videos of a protank coil head rebuild will show you the concept.

Once you have the coil in place, you pop the rubber grommet into the bottom with one leg of the coil inside the center of the grommet and the other leg in-between the grommet and the body of the carto. Negative lead done.

Then, the coil leg in the middle is pinched between the rubber grommet and the positive pin. Positive lead done.

It really is pretty simple. I'll make sure to take a pic or two of the leads before snipping them.

Edit: krisma beat me and explained it much better. Thanks krisma!!

My first coils that I ever rebuilt, were the Pro-tank coils, thanks I was wondering the same question. Still playing with the Sophia right now, and I was using it off and on all day with no problems, it is still kind of early to give it a full thumbs up, but it is good. I need to get a bit better at building coils on it though, I am used to mounting the coils on screws. :glare:

Having messed around with the positive pin on coils to make contact in the days before spring loaded positive contacts I understood every word.
