Cat among the pigeons. I have seen and held one of those 18350 clones called the pocket rocket and I can say with confidence that for me that the perceived small increase in size makes a big difference to me. I could not hold it comfortable and even though the button is in the same place as my BB's I could not fire it with ease. It is too chunky. I have not seen the side fire one but cannot even imaging how I would fire it.

Please keep them as they are. If the BB design is changed then my only saving grace would be I could adopt all the spare current versions.

Dibs on them....... :p

I did not know that the clone makers made a 18350 version, but I would be interested if Mr. DD made one. That being said, I would not want the original BB to be discontinued. I would just not like that one bit, I would want the original to still be made, and available. The only thing I would really like to be changed is the battery compartment/clips to allow for the slightly longer batteries. (Oh Yea there ain't nobody getting a hold of my current BB's) :)

but.....but.....but......I thought no self respecting Italian ever called it sauce.......is that one of those mythy thingies???? lol

Actually.......

My darlinks. It is SAUCE SAUCE and nothing but SAUCE.

I just might be the only FIRST GEN WOP around here. There were a few part-time Italians in the family (in laws) who lived WAY down in Philly, and who grievously and mistakenly referred to our luscious red topping as grrrr-avy. (oh puleeeeeeeze. gravy goes on mashed taters, and I dunno, maybe a biscuit or sump'n.)

Sorry Uncs. And my most sincere apologies to Granny.

It's SAUCE.

Sauce?

2 cans of tomato paste to one (lerger) can of puree. Fry up some meat to add (include the grease!), season to taste

Mom was full blooded Italian. She taught me.

Lasagna for Christmas Eve was just shy of 30#. Plus a smaller one we took in to the barristas at Starbucks the next day (that was 10#)

YES! This~! Except our Starbucks was the local bridge club. Seriously! They were no dummies....

<groan>

It's - GRAVY ! ! !

Yeah/no. It's sauce.  :D

.....'s recipe from 3 days to kill:

Tomatoes from your garden.
Heat the olive oil, crushed garlic.
I peel tomatoes.
After 10 minutes, no more,
add capers and parsley.
A mother's secret is a glass of red wine
teaspoon of sugar.

An old Italian man lived alone in the country. It was Spring and he wanted to dig his tomato garden, as he had done every year, but it was very hard work for the aging man as the ground was hard. His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was currently in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:

Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If only you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.

Love Dad

A few days later he received a letter from his son:

Dear Dad,
Not for nothing, but don't dig up that garden. That's where I buried the BODIES.
Love Vinnie

At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived at the old man's house and dug up the entire area. However, they didn't find any bodies, so they apologized to the old man and left.

That same day the old man received another letter from his son.

Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love Vinnie

Uncle, HUGE congrats on the win! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! I'm an SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you!

It's an awesome little stick, and I hope you love it as much as DPL and I do!

Tanks? Any tank 22mm or smaller will work fine it. We use Cerotanks and Naughties in them. You CAN use a Kabuki but it's mega short and might give you a bit of a problem removing it.

OMG OMG OMG I just took possession of the most incredible billet box. I had been calling her Kookie in my mind (cookies and cream/kookaburras) but I opened up the package to find this stunning champagne / titanium colour and she was instantly called Coco (as with Coco Chanel, expensive, stylish and always in fashion)

I am thrilled and my deepest luv and respect for @DPLongo22 who arranged.:wub: It was absolutely worth the sleepless nights you had trying to surprise everyone. :p

She's beautiful, XX. And even the best picture doesn't quite tell exactly how pretty she is.

Belated Happy Birthday, and a long overdue "THANK YOU!" (for the unbelievably beautiful drip tips), from @Katdarling and me. We're thrilled to have gotten it into your hands (exchange rates be damned!), and hope you enjoy it for years & years to come.

:bday:

And in the spirit of Kat (thanks for kovering my "Sauce", by the way), just a couple more pics for Uncle. Then we'll stop.

With Kabuki >

And full-size Nauti (my preferred arrangement for a workday) >

They're marvelous. But when ultimate portability is the goal, the BB still wins (hands-down).

Because NOTHING beats a Billet Box, ALL things considered. At least not for Tootle Puffers like me/us. :D

An open message of thanks to @Katdarling. You are such a special person that I can't thank you enough for your friendship. Coco has to be the most incredible gift I have ever received. You know I am not used to being the recipient of such generosity and I am sincerely grateful. Not to forget the gift of fun, laughter and caring you also share that is priceless.

Coco has already become the Matriarch of the BB family :p And every vape is a salute to you.

Love it and that makes much sense than the chopped wood version!

wow!!!! Gorgeous!!!! So very happy for you sweetie!! And what a wonderful thing for two very special people to have done.

Wow, this gravy/sauce debate has been quite interesting and educational! Loved the pics and the stories of y'alls families. No italian here of course, just southern, so here gravy has the following prefixes....... brown, hamburger, sawmill, cream, red eye, biscuits/grits and lol
