That looks really cool. Did you happen to post this on reddit? I'm glad to see you put a rev 4 boro in there. I think I posted on it on reddit saying you'd like the new boro more than the old one.

An similar one to this one - yeah...apparently. Haha. I created a Reddit account and tried posting it there, but I can't even find it on Reddit myself! I wasn't sure it even posted! Thanks for the compliment L-Man. I made my first few with the Rev3 BORO so when the Rev4 came out, I thought I was screwed. Good thing I am able to pick up a few spare v3 Boro's AND get the v4 Boro. Without them, I'd be up the creek. The tank is one of the things I've always admired the most from DD/BBV (among many). Making a box mod - many have done...creating a tank from nothing that is unlike anything else...very different. I so badly wanted to create my own tank in house, but I genuinely can't come up with a better design. Maybe one will come to me in my dreams, but either way, my respect for BBV runs deep

It's a grounding problem...of course. The drip tip needs to compress the coil adapter/carto just enough to not only create a metal/metal connection up top on the drip tip end, but also push down for the coil/carto's positive pin end to make good cause my act with the positive pad in the BB

Absolutely! Based on what I am experiencing, does this issue sound like it is the JMK is just not long enough? Again, I don't have any issues with the standard fare brass ring.

Here's a way to diagnose:
Cut a couple tiny pieces of tin foil (1 cm x 1 cm).
Put one just on top of the positive pad inside of the BB.
Place the tank in the BB, carefully not to crumple the foil.
Screw in drip tip.
Try firing.
If it doesn't fire, try one more piece of foil; etc.

You should create ground by slightly pushing up the atomizer assembly/carto just enough for contact.

Give it a try

I STILL no HAZ so I made my own! DNA 40; v4 Boro; 1600mah lipos; pass-thru charging. It's no BB though no matter what I tell myself.

thats bad boy lil box you built! looks sharp!im starting my 2nd dna200 squonker.this time ima try using drill press and not mar the enclosure up.hope it comes out half as nice as yours.

this isnt a Bbox but i do have a couple of other boxes that wouldnt fit the 1500 mah lipo i have in the pic. so hmmmm i may has to keep 1 of my burro's(snicker..burro)i just laid that stuff in there so i could see how much room id have...or NOT have left.67mm wide is a bit much even for my man hands,but its the only way i could get the 1500 Mah lipo in there.thatsa fat daddy vapes squonk box. and everything else came from FDV.

JMK is too short. At least you can use it as long as you don't mind some tinfoil in your BB!

Thanks! I know what you're sayin....bench tools make life worth living! I'm without a garage for the time being (apt living), so everything comes down to how shaky my hands are and how sharp my dremel bit is!

thanks for the compliment,but i think your works WAY cleaner.this is only my 2nd try at building a dna 200 squonker.wish i wasnt addicted to squonking,w/o squonk stuff the build would be alot easier for me.but thats half the fun i guess,making it work!once i get a lil drill press itll be LOTS easier and less slipping and marring up boxes!

i knew this lipo would fit in this box,im really thinkin bout puttin a different fire button and not use the one on the chip.the lil cutoff on the box at the top right corner makes the fire button seem like it would be perfect there.just have to solder a couple wires for it is all...lol,easy for me to say.i didnt have any luck soldering on my last build.well i can solder as long as its not on a chip set of any kind..lol.

Sorry I haven't been around....work, family, and my new addiction of DIY'ing my own juices has given me no time to lurk the forum.

So far so good, I'm making simple recipes for now. Made something really close to Space Jam Astro and it's fantastic

Also received a message from DD and Anne.....they are sending me a replacement gasket and glass panel for my white boro. I guess there were a few white r4 boros that were defective, but they are taking good care of me.. DP get off your lazy bum and shoot them a message so you can get the replacement parts too

Yeah, just really expensive to get things started, but now I see how much money I will be saving

In all honesty, a lot of the juices out on the market are crap so I'd rather spend a few cents on some crappy juice that I made instead of handing it over to a shop that's selling some hyped FB juice for $22/30ml...lol!

Jup! Not to mention once you get stocked up on nic.......it's something that deeming can't take away from you. That's why I started a lil over a year ago. I knew I would have to gather things slowly, would be able to plop down a few hundred at once to get everything I needed in case the govt got stupid, like they have.
