A new playtime set of pics. I am always tinkering with new ideas for Billet Box panels and my latest effort has been forced patina of some .5mm copper sheet. I like them but I don't like them enough to put on a billet box yet. I am not sure where this will go but anyway here they are

Wow'ers.

And I don't even LIKE copper. But THOSE...????

Well, my new Rev4 will be taking a return trip to Utah. Went to use it last night, it had jumped to 40w with a 1.6Ω nautilus coil. Holy dry hit Batman.

It seems as though the wattage up button is stuck.

I called BB CS this morning and received a call back almost immediately (~30s or so). Customer service was awesome, and told me to watch for a return shipping label this afternoon. I've never had such a pleasant experience with CS before, with the exception of Vapor Flask.

sorry your baby is broke..........but aint ya glad ya got it from someone who's CS is fabulous?

Here is the most in depth study on ecigs that I've seen The guy doing the study has never taken a puff off of a tobacco product so he does the part for someone that's never smoked. It's almost an hr. long.

Have this pulled up to watch later. :)

Tonight, I think I found a good solution for the "new black AW's too tight" issue in my Rev-3a's. (I mean, they're really not, but a light slap into my palm won't knock them out...they're not too tight, they're just a little stubborn!)

It DID involve a little surgery, but it works!

A little ribbon, a little "unscrew this and screw it back in", and bingo!
Pops the battery out with no issue!
Tuck the excess between the batteries, and the back-plate slides on/off with no issues!

Took all of 5 minutes!
I honestly don't know why it didn't come from the factory this way!
Hey DD!

AH - GREAT MINDS - really do think alike . . .
(Original post November 2015 . . . :p    )

I then asked if using a "ribbon" as they do in some other products to remove batteries would be alright - I even suggested the trash bag ties. That's when he tried something he had there to check if that would work. Well it did . . . So as a result, "Doug Dino" mentioned that he is now going to be thinking about this and what can hopefully be done as a work around for people in the future . . .

The big difference is "You" actually did the modification and showed us a picture too . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Hi all - Been loving my rev 4 since I got it a few weeks back, but have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to.

I have both the Ohman 'roo and UNO. No issues with the 'roo, but I'm having a hard time with the UNO. The issue is this: After I build/wick and put the boro tank in my box, I tighten the 510 connector down fully. When I say fully, I mean I tighten it down enough so it is fully torqued (lolz), I am not cranking it in like an animal. When I hit the fire button, my resistance is WAY off. Like a .80 coil reads as .03, .01, or sometimes I'm just getting the "shorted" error.

If I back the 510 off maybe 1/4 turn, it will then read the resistance fairly accurately. The issue with this is that I feel like the 510 is not tight enough, and I have had a couple of small leaks from the tank.

I feel stupid asking, but do I NEED to use one of the supplied o'rings that came with the UNO? I thought they were only used to tighten the airflow, not to secure the atty in place. Any insight or help is appreciated. I love the flavor I'm getting from the UNO but also want to be sure I'm using it correctly.

My build is solid, and I have my leads captured correctly, so I'm running out of things to check. This has happened all 3 times I've built the UNO (only had it a week). I'm currently using a spaced 26g Kathal coil, but this also happened with 28g NI200. I thought it was my NI200 build as that was my first build I tried, but now that it is happening with Kanthal I do not think the wire type is the issue.
