But I have to agree. Dem is purdy.
It's the name of the women's prison here.I don't think he's all that purdy, but whatever floats your boat, J5.![]()
So a quick question for all you experts...
I'm still LOVING my Billet Boxes! And loving the Aspire BVC coils.
The first coil lasted me like 3 weeks! Same juice, I had to change it after 1 day because the air flow just went to VERY tight (and I like a tight draw.... But it was too tight.)
On top of that, the wick kept getting dry on me. I'd have to pull a few times without firing to saturate the wick.
So anyway - I figured it was a fluke coil. So I Swapped in a new one and don't ya K of the SAME exact thing happens again today! The same all the way around...
I'm thinking maybe the pressure fit top of the bridge might be hitting the coil and/or that gasket incorrectly? Maybe? Just a guess as the draw is so tight, but yet the wick keeps drying on me.
Anyone have this happen to them? If so - how do you avoid it? Could it be two bad coils in a row?

stanley, I sure wish I had some input that might be helpful.
I've finally come to grips with the factoid that coils, leaks, tight hits, etc. are kompletely random.
I give up.![]()
Some quick things off the top of my head.
Make sure the holes in the pin are facing the holes in the side of the billet box.
Make sure you are not covering the holes in the billet box with your hand when you hold it.
If you screw down too hard you can compress the pin into the coil and wick. Pull the pin out a bit
It could be the coils are dodgy. Get yourself a cheap tank that takes these coils (look in clearance section) or your old gear screw into the base and test the coil on a different mod. If it's ok then see above. Because I rewick my coils I get into the habit of doing this anyway. Much easier to fix the coils outside of the BB
I believe they are.I know. I was just bustin'...
I agree with both KD & XX regarding opinions and possible causes. Over the years though, I've rarely had issues with these coils (rarely meaning possibly never). One question I have is whether or not they're authentic coils. Do you know if they are, Stanley?
Yes absolutely.

Last thing I can think of is that the pin is the problem. Switch the pin from an old coil that worked with the new coil.
Yeah - I'm at a loss. Try Krisma's theory because it's very unusual (to say the least).
Some were slightly shorter and sat lower in the coil.......leading to leaking. Some had super flat bottoms, some were rounded.
Still talkin' bout coils here, right?
Good info, Krisma. I've never checked any of my pins.
I believe they are.
I'll figure it out. In the meantime I'm getting to know this Reo.
7 wraps 28g 3/32. Should be around 1.3 ohms. And is delicious! My first foray into squonking! Lol

I saw a used P67 posted somewhere for sale and thought about it... But argh... I'll just stick with this one nice Grand, and then the Sunbox E7 that's in route to me.Right next to my 2 BB's that go to work with me are 2 of the 14500 mini REO's, I swear that they vape the same in a smaller package. I love the grand (and the P67 I just got) as well.
