I am not going to say that it's been a success, but I've got a build in it, and have been
vaping on it a little since last night.
The Delrin airflow wheel won't fit behind the glass tab on the Rev3 Boro, so it's a VERY airy draw...which makes for too cool of a vape for my taste.
29g 6/7 wraps, 1.7~ Ohm coil, and I actually had to move the dial on my Rev3 for the first time...all the way up to V (5 volts)...
Still too cool of a vape, but I started to get some flavor there...any higher and it won't make sense for battery life!
I don't want to go too much lower in resistance, because it might not be good for the amperage draw on the chipset, and I don't want to tax these little batteries.
I'm going to try again with a more intense flavor liquid...
Seems like firmly inserting the brass drip tip adapter forces the Insider down against the bottom of the
tank, which just barely keeps the bottom sealed.
At least it fits! The Exocet can't say that.
Working though it may be, I'd still say this atty was purpose built for the Rev4.
