Just got my v2 loving it way better than my fogger v6. I noticed y'all pics show screws on your post. Mine came with Allen heads. I checked the tag on box its authentic. Did billow change to Allen screws?
Update: did some more research turns out it is a clone but a real nice one vapes great. So I ordered an authentic one so for the only difference is the clone has grub screws instead of Phillips and possibly a different kind of insulator but I'm running 28g 2mil double rapped coils at a total of .2 ohms and it not getting hot unlike my fogger v6 which melted the insulator at .25 ohms. Will have more updates.

Looks killer! What ohm? I bet better flav with all the surface area... I like how it covers the air holes. I wrap 8 26ga kanthol 2.5mm and the coils are smaller than the air holes. Idk if it makes a big difference or not.

0.26 ohm. Kanthal will probably be close to triple that. It has a tighter draw because it does take up most of the space in there. So far I am getting excellent flavor and density.

Yeah, next time my coils need a cleaning I'm going to replace with 3.mm and give it a go:thumb:

I've never had a more satisfying vape then with titanium wire. That might help with better flavor if you haven't already tried it. I gave up spaced titanium coils and have gone to 8 wrap 3.0mm contact coils primed at 10w until blue and tight. Comes to 0.24ohms

Are you using temp control with TI contact coils? It has been said that using contact coils will make TC inaccurate.

So far contact coils have performed 100x better for me. If TC is a little inaccurate with contact I'll take it because the vape is so much better.

I just can't seem to figure out how to fit a true 3mm dual coil set up in my billow. No matter what I get a rub on the chimney or the post. 2.5 MM coils seem to be the largest I can fit and be comfortable I'm not going to short it out.
What gauge are you using? 26ga is the max gauge for 3.0mm from my experience and 26ga definitely takes some patience.

Make sure you are inserting the coil then moving it over so the wraps are centered where there is more room.

that's how I do it. The rub is directly opposite of the posts. I just can't seem to get them in there. not sure I would like the draw if I did. I like an open airy draw. I've gotten my billow working and wicking awesome right now on the 2.5's. I was just making a point that I tried this size coil several times and just could not do it, so Kudos to those that can!

Does anybody know where I can order some more screws and what size they are? Almost lost my last one as it went flying across the kitchen when I was rebuilding! Took me like an hour to find the dam thing. I eventually somehow found it though. I want to buy a bunch of extras.
M2 x 3mm if you would like to order some more.

Well I got the drop kit, or nano kit, installed on the Billow last night. Man what a difference in flavor and temperature. It's a whole new tank now. I can't say better or worse yet, but very different. Flavor seems to be amped up some for sure, vapor production seems about the same so far. I will say it seems to wick better, though that could just be my imagination. Call me crazy, but I also like not getting committed to such a large quantity of juice with each fill up.
