Mine never leaked if I wicked it right. If the leaking issues I read about for the first version are gone then could be interesting.

That really stinks. Sorry you're having trouble. Did you notice in the manual that the deck can be removed from the base by taking out the 510 pin and unscrewing the deck counterclockwise. It's how you remove the airflow ring apparently. Maybe something is wrong under the deck that could be easily fixed?Got mine yesterday and it seems I may have a defective base. I put my go to build in it, dual 24g at .4 ohms. First read on my meter said 1.9ohms. Checked the screws and made sure the coils were not touching anything they shouldn't. Read 2.1 ohms for a second on the meter then it read shorted, haven't been able to get it to read since. Checked it on my sigelei 150 and got the check atomizer message.
I put a different build in but got the same result. I cleaned and dried it as well, no dice. I'm pretty bummed out but I have contacted Eciggity and they have always been good to me on the customer service side so I hope to get it figured out.
I know it's only been out a day or two but has anyone else has this problem?

What pg/vg levels are you vaping?I'm having this same issue, as well as major wicking issues, I can wick everything except this, and ibe tried eberything...

It varies, usually 30/70 but I have some 50/50 I can never get right
I've tried every way, at 25 watts on .4 ohms... That's incredibly low... Wicking this thing is a nightmare. I've done it exactly like the video, like a few people have described, ohms jumps constantly and it will work for a few pulls them burning or spit back again often both. So far I'm extremely dissapointed.
If you don't notice anything odd under the deck than I'd contact eciggity and see about a replacement.Oh no I'm not taking anything personally! I'm grateful for any help! Low as in your voltage is really low. I've tightened down the screws so many times to try and see why it's jumping and nothing... No wires touching anything either than what they are supposed to... It's baffling me. I ran and still run the version one billOw no problems whatsoever. .4 ohm build usually with "the dude" 30/70 pg/vg at 4.2 volts

I feel kind of guilty that my Billow V2 has been working flawlessly.
Light plated metal? Mine feels exactly like all my other tanks that are stainless steel. To me it feels more solid than my STM and much better built than my Goblins.
