Cthulhu v2 is definitely my next rta. Velocity posts is the main seller--I hate having to set a coil only to remove it just so I can trim the legs on the 2nd coil. I think the Cthulhu has a functioning top fill too. I thought about the Zephyrus, but read too many bad posts about the top fill causing leaking

My only problem with the Zephyrus was the fact there was no option for a single coil. I sold my Zephyrus and bought a clone of the Goblin Mini.

Now I rock my GMini (my FAVE) and kayfun Nano

What are you moving on to?

Right now Goliath, Cthulu and Goliath V2. All have much larger juice channels.

So there's not any misunderstanding, billow v2 works fine, can chain vape 80% VG, blah blah, but there's a difference in the richness when the coils are fed "wetter" through a draw. There's a huge difference in the richness of the resulting vapor when using attys with much larger juice channels. Small juice channels are fine; larger juice channels are better. Once you hit better, good is no longer good enough.

I have a confession to make. I was pro-Billow V2 many pages ago in the beginning of this thread. Dozens of re-wicks because of dry hits and leaking, several stuck bottom sections, and two broken glass sections later, I have now moved on to a Uwell Crown with pre-built heads and an occasional RBA head with Ti build. I tried a Ti build once when I got my first spool of Ti wire but the wicking was so bad I almost got a dry hit even with temp control. I thought I mastered the wicking with this thing at one point, but its still so finicky and picky that I've outgrown my patience with it.

That's the cool thing about vaping. There are so many options! What works for some may not be what others like/need. It sounds like you gave the Bv2 an honest workout! My brother has one and has to re wick everyday, (uses cotton bacon) but he enjoys the flavor and ease of filling and the benefit of being able to re wick without wasting juice. It's his fav rba! Sorry the Bv2 has givin you so many fits!!

Trust me. I loved the Billow V2 for a good while. There was probably a whole week that went by without me dripping once. I agree, if you get that wicking right, it's spectacular. But even when I did get it perfect and it came down to refilling it, 3 out of 5 times the bottom section would be stuck to the rest of the tank and I'd have to put on a glove just to get it apart. Now I have 2 Billow V2s. It happened with both. And half the time the bottom came off the chimney piece stayed with the tank and f'ed up my wicks. And then when I finally decided to get back in to the subohm tank game with the Crown, the airflow, without comprising flavor, was so impressive I haven't looked back since. I will give my Billow V2 another chance one day... I just can't bring myself to buy yet another replacement glass for it right now.

    No you can't
I've tried every way, at 25 watts on .4 ohms... That's incredibly low... Wicking this thing is a nightmare. I've done it exactly like the video, like a few people have described, ohms jumps constantly and it will work for a few pulls them burning or spit back again often both. So far I'm extremely dissapointed.
I picked up the UD Bellus this week and came across this problem. If any one has another fix for this problem I'll like to know about it.

I'm very disappointed to find out the post is only being held in place by pushing it on to the insulator. What were they thinking.

Post is not press fitted on, it is being held in place by pushing it onto the insulator and nothing else. MY FIX = made a tighter fitting by using some 30 ga wire feed it though outer whole that's all insulator and twisted and cut then push the post back in place. This way if it works I can do it again and again. So far resistance is stable at .8 ohms.

It's a shame because - this is the only negative I found but it to big of an issue to just live with - I'm impressed with everything else I was loving it until I came across the post being pushed on to the insulator ONLY, what were they thinking.

I was going to order another one but NOT NOW.

I agree, when I dip into the top of the Billow it is so much more "richer" because of the over saturation of the wicks. I have a Mill and lathe at work, I'm gonna mod one of my Billows and make the channels bigger and see how that vapes.

Just got my v2 loving it way better than my fogger v6. I noticed y'all pics show screws on your post. Mine came with Allen heads. I checked the tag on box its authentic. Did billow change to Allen screws?

I bought a V2 Nano. I hope mine cones with grub screws instead of Phillips screws

I just opened my second V2 and it has screws. Fairly recent from a vendor that just got the batch from EHPro. Definitely authentic... and it still has screws. I'm not saying there's NOT newer ones with grubs. Just verify what you're getting!!!

What I was originally going to write about was I HOPE they don't make the juice channels bigger. I've never had a problem with dry hits (60% vg). I have only had leaking issues when I didn't wick it correctly. But, then again, maybe you could stuff more down the channel if they were bigger... ?? Hmmm....

And is sounds like I may finally have to try out this Rayon stuff!!!! I've been hearing about it for SO long!! But, I also have enough cotton for so many lifetimes!! :)

It's not an issue with dry hits. Billow V2 works fine, no dry hits, good vape. The issue is how wet and dense it gets. Tanks with larger juice channels can produce wetter, denser vapes over a longer draw. If you like that (I do), it goes from good vape to better vape.

Thank God for this thread. Came back to it and found out there is a drop kit for my BV2! I'm so excited. Has anyone used it and does it have the same difference I get from the Lemo drop? I would love it if it increases the flavor ten fold like the Lemo drop did for the lemo. I also ordered some of that F5 Supima Cotton. Was getting a little low on wicking material, so I figured I would give it a go. Ordered with priority shipping so I hope it's here for the weekend!

I've never had a more satisfying vape then with titanium wire. That might help with better flavor if you haven't already tried it. I gave up spaced titanium coils and have gone to 8 wrap 3.0mm contact coils primed at 10w until blue and tight. Comes to 0.24ohms

Are you fitting the 3mm coil in the bv2? If so I bet it's tight. I run 2.5 and it's close.
