What do you find are the best ohms on the Vivi with the Bolt?

In stock configuration, I would assume the 1.8ohm heads are optimal, since you're stuck at 3.7v. I'm still using the 1.8 that came with it, and I also ordered a 5 pack of the same. I haven't tried the other higher ohm heads that came with it yet.

Thanks for that. I havn't tried the vivi on mine yet. I had to fiddle about with the centre pin. Have every adapter except 510-510  so have one coming. Would just rather use an adapter since the vivi doesn't seem to reach the pin. A bit weird because cartos and adapters are ok. I have a couple of 1.8 ohm heads lying about. I like vaping at 3.7 volts for a stretch sometimes.

If you use a 4.8 volt NiMh battery than you can use the 2.4 or 2.8 ohm heads. You could also kick it and use any head....this is my preference but the 4.8 volt battery is a cheaper alternative.

Can anyone list versions or colors of the bolt that have a completely metal tube interior without the powder coating? I recently bought the bolt in gun metal with the extender expecting there would be no coating but there was a thin film I will now have to sand off so my kick can make good contact.

So the anodized bolts ie the gun metal ones all r anodized inside. But the powder coated "painted"(black, red, grey and white) have raw metal inside. But some times there is over spray on the inside that need to be sanded. With that said the "painted" bolts have thin wire in the switch(about 34g -/+). So if I was u I would never kick a "painted" bolt because u will melt the wires. On the other hand the anodized bolts have thicker wires in the switch(about 24g?) So u can kick them with out the wire's melting. Hope this helps

I've just kicked my anodized Bolt. I had to sand away some of the anodization on the inside of the extension, took about 5 minutes, works like a dream. I don't have to touch the kick when I change batteries which is a huge bonus. I'd planned on using the kick in my Precise Plus, but taking the kick out every time I change the battery would get old pretty quick. I also tried the kick in my Telescope, works well, but the threads show when used with an 18490 battery, which looks crappy.

As you all know me bolt's switch died. I have got a new one tho. So now I'll post some pics of my dead switch. Maybe it can help someone in the long run. I did take most of the hot glue out of it tho and lost some of the wires by doing so. But my lost my be someones gain. So here they are.

I bought a Bolt in gun metal 'cause it was a sexy looking device, and the only tanks I could find to match (in gun metal) were the "SmokTech U-DCT 6ML Tanks" with the 1.5 ohm "SmokTech CE2 DCT-2 No Filler Pre-Punched Cartos". Perhaps I place to much emphasis on the aesthetics of my devices, but that's just how I roll.

I just bought a chrome Bolt with the extender included. It has a chrome switch button. Is this a good one? I don't stress my stuff too much and rarely run over 6.8 volts. My carto/cartotanks I use 2ohm and 2.5ohm. Will this work good? This is what I use with my telescope and my eGo T Mod, and it suits me great. Just curious. The Bolt was sort of a impulse buy (took me about a week to make up my mind) and I think it'll mostly be a back up. My main PV is the telescope, and I have a fully mechanical on order for the first of December. I liked the idea the Bolt could be sort of like the telescope...use different sized batteries. The telescope has taken just about everything I've thrown at it...even Ultrafire 3000 mAh (the threads show a bit, but with a bit of adjustment to the bottom switch piece and the middle piece...it's acceptable) and 14500 mAh! I don't really expect that of the Bolt. But it's sort of/kind of/a step away from fully mechanical, which is something that I've found appeals strongly to me.

Any comments, suggestions, trouble shooting tips? How about where can I get a replacement switch should I need one?

I love to own this combo for myself. From what i can gather, the colour will washed out pretty quick. Do u have any problem with that?
