Can you give me some info on the switch? How is the action, how is it rated, etc? Also, if anyone is using The Buzz with 510 cartomizers, let me know how they're playing together. I'm 'this close' to ordering one. ;-)

Thanks!

I like the switch, to me it is very comfortable. It has a nice little click to it so you know when you've pressed it and when you let go. It's not hard to press at all, but it's stiff enough to prevent misfires. It's actually the same button as on my Chameleon so I was already use to it when I got the Buzz. Sorry can not tell you how it's rated, Buzzkill can tell you that part.

On cartos... what do you mean play together well? It's going to be like any other device... cartos don't do well for the most part if they are used over 3.7 volts unless you are extremely careful with them. I tried a 510 carto from IkenVape on it at 4.5 volts and burnt it quickly, but I take frequent, long, hard, 10 second hits so burning it was my fault. Same cartos worked great when set to 4.1 volts though. I'm a dripper except when away from home so I won't be running cartos on it anyway, was just playing with differernt options.

The switch is a 1mil cycle C&K tact switch , the action is nice IMO , I have used 808 style cartoz and they work fine.
The saga continues, I received my Buzz last night and everything looks good so far. Didn't have too much time to use because a storm came in Wednesday night and knocked out power to my area, 2 days without power now. Staying at son's home for right now, hopefully power will be restored today. What else can happen now?

Man you are on a roll J ? I cant believe it :(
Do you have a car charger adapter ?

Thanks for the replies, WitchWay and Buzzkill...

Buzzkill: not sure if you read my post above, but after retrying I did get it to show the quantities and I subsequently placed my order (order# 53). I ordered my Buzz in black because your system said that you were out of silver. However, if you actually do have silver in stock, I think I'd prefer it!

Can the switch be 'user-replaced' if it should fail sometime down the road?

Also, I was asking specifically about 510 cartos because I have a veritible stockpile of them here (over 300), and I've been using them on my Prodigy V1 and V2 for months, but I'd like to dial the voltage back a bit to slow down the carto-frying pace. I've been thinking that about 4.3 volts to 4.7 would be ideal for me, and now I'll be able to tell for sure with the Buzz on its way. ;-)

If you are use to the cartos on higher voltage you'll should be good. I've never used anything over 3.7 volts until the Buzz. Right now I'm using a 302 atty and have the voltage set to 4.6 volts. I think this is as high as I care to go, but that little bit over the normal 3.7 has sure made a difference. And I am getting better about taking shorter hits, but that tends to happen after you choke yourself several times LOL

You'll be thrilled with the Buzz! The adjustable voltage is fantastic! Please post when you get it and let us all know what you think.

Happy vaping!

I have been using the Buzz for almost 2 mo. and the switch has never mis-fired. It acts the very same today as it did the first time I pushed it. Also I have used cartos, atty's and drip vaped on it. I have used the 901, 510, 801, KR808D-1 and the 510 cartos on it. Thats the nice thing about the Buzz is you can put a carto or atty on it and fine tune the voltage level to the sweet spot for each of these units. I have also found that the level might be different for say one 510 carto to another 510 carto or 808 carto to another 808 carto but thats where the adjusting comes in great.
So you think my face is messy huh Buzzkill? I just thought it's time I posted my picture on ECF.

Yes, please do some reviews, people, when you get your Buzz.

Synth: You're saying you're using a 510 carto on the Prodigy V1? Where did your cartos come from? I can't get mine to fit on the V1 adapter. They work great on the V2, though. Mine came from litecigusa and Eastmall, I think.

I use 510 cartos from Eastmall (the same ones Litecig sells) on my Prodigy V1 by using a 510 adapter on top of the Prodigy's 801 adapter. My V1 510 adapter doesn't work with the 510 cartomizers either. So, it's not just you. =]

JC i'm so srry for you buddy. If it wasn't for bad luck you wouldn't have any at all. Look at it this way, your just getting all the bad stuff out of the way and it should be smooth sailing from here on in. One things for sure, nobody deserves good luck more than you.

Man stay away from that guy your car will blow up !!
Just Kidding JC I feel bad for you also , you are a patient man , have a beer :toast::toast::toast:

Yes, please do some reviews, people, when you get your Buzz.

I just got my Buzz a few minutes ago and so far I'm lovin it. I waited a long time for someone to come out with mod that would do 4.5 volts because I read lots of stories of people blowing attys at 5 and 6 volts. According to Janty 4.5 is the sweet spot for attys. I was waiting for the Baby J but the Buzz sounded better to me and it's available now. Who knows when the Baby J will ever be available.

Right now I'm using a 510 mega atty on it and it's hitting fantastic. In fact the Buzz is giving me a buzz. I think I might have to cut down on my nicotine level with the Buzz. Right now I'm using 24mg. I might go down to 18mg when I run out of juice.

After I use it awhile I'll put a full review in the review section. :vapor:

Actually I'm fine, staying at son's home, he has power. Brought all my ecig stuff of course, have been enjoying the Buzz so far. Haven't messed with the preset setting, works great. Question: Is the voltage setter the screw in the cut out hole or the screw that's flush mounted on the side next to the switch?

I think that streak is over I think but thanks for your concern and comments. I'm having problems with another vendor that so far has refused to give me a refund, ordered on April 6 for estimated delivery May 1, we're in June already and he's still stalling so now it's Paypal dispute. If I win I'll know bad streak is over. If I lose:evil::evil:
