I still carry a lighter with me, just in case I need one for something. But I definitely do not miss smoke in my eyes or burning myself when I don't realise how far down the cigarette had burned. Nor do I miss burning my overcoat when the wind blows it back into my cigarette!

Do love the stares when you're in a crowd and you take a hit off your cig looking PV and it glows blue! The looks are priceless.

I was in a casino not long ago vaping away. The stares I got were long and hard. Finally, someone asked me what I was doing when I did a battery change. After I got bored with the questions, I directed her here.

I guess I miss... not realizing my truck FREAKING REEKS!!!

I got my kit on Monday and haven't had a single puff of an analog since...I have not driven my own vehicle in a couple days, jumped in it to go out a little while ago and almost gagged! Did it really always smell like an ashtray?? I don't even use the ashtray!! No butts or anything ever stayed in the car and I am a bit of a clean freak! Is there an E-cig Special Ops Team that runs around analog stink bombing us newbies so we never go back? It didn't smell like that on Monday...?!

I am sure vaping helped me quit smoking forever, but I think it just cost me 30K!!! Man, am I DAMN glad I never smoked in the house!

Yesm all of the above-

There was a tick yesterday, I had NOwhere to put it (NOT in my nice clean ashtrays that I use for my PV) and nothing to kill it with when I found a tissue. and YES, I DID try to put my jeweled end of my 501 on it. and lit it up.. and then I was shocked when it didnt work.... (yes, I am blonde)

Thanks for my biggest laugh of the day!

I still carry a lighter most times,ya never know when it'll come in handy(more than you think)
If you use a cig style pv,wait til you try to light it.

LOL! Too funny! I actually did this once to my Prosmoke mini, which strongly resembles an analog. Fortunately, the blue light on the end alerted me to what I was doing before I did any real damage ...

Agree with these as well.

I am still not quite comfortable with using the PV in places where smoking is not allowed, though, especially on planes. I'll sneak into the loo to use it then. I'd just rather not make people uncomfortable or have to explain what the thing is ...

Sometimes... just sometimes... I miss the simplicity of cigs. I used to go to the same store all the time and none of the people who worked there even had to ask... they'd just pull two packs of Pall Malls off the shelf and add them to whatever else I was buying.

I worry about the day a retail vape shop opens in my town -- and I understand that day is coming soon. I have a feeling the owner's going to say, "look instead of charging you for what you buy, I'll just charge you rent since you're here so much..."

I still have a lighter for lighting a candle or splicing a wire. A good thing that has stopped since vaping is...no more balancing the long hot boxed cig and looking crazy for an ashtray before it falls off! Or having to use your hand if you can't find one fast enough. No more waiting for someone to offer you an ashtray. Or using your shoe to put one out and leaving a black mark on the bottom of it then tracking it in your house, or someone elses. No more flicking and landing in the wrong spot. No more saving the long butts just incase. No more suddenly finding a hugh piece of wood in a half smoked one and wondering if it might be a worm. No more having to hold it in your mouth to use both hands and getting wrinkles if no ashtray is nearby cause the ecig is too heavy and you can just lay it down. No more singed hair smell, yours or someones your sitting next to who is'nt smoking. One thing I still can't get over is smoking near others even though I am now vaping.

wow saving the long butts that's the one that makes me feel most like a bum hurry up and restock Bloog I can't wait to get started!

I went fishing the other night. I call the gnats here in Northeast PA "sumo gnats" because they are HUGE and love to bounce off your head. So, yeah, first instinct was to blow "smoke" at them. Then I quickly realized it wasn't working. Then I got to wondering if they were ATTRACTED to the sweet scent of the Vanilla Custard. Then I began thinking about bees and bugs all summer long. I hate winter because of snow, but I hate summer because of bugs. I need to move. lol

Same for lighters and excuses to "get away" for a moment (greatly missed, especially residing with my 4 year old PITA!). I miss those mental health breaks outside, watching the birds and squirrels. Sure, I could still do it, but I don't think to since I can "smoke" at my computer now.
