He passed a lot of gas last night, I can tell you that! :p

We can give him some pedialyte or gatorade at 6:00 pm and if that goes well small portions of chicken and rice every couple of hours for the next 12. After that, he stays on the bland diet for a few days.

Truthfully though, now that I've had a little sleep and I can think again I'm beginning to wonder. They never asked what we feed him (home cooked meat, rice and veggies), and I'm starting to wonder if grains of undigested rice could look like tiny pieces of gravel. If that's the case, we have no idea what his problem is. At least there weren't any large objects like rocks or sticks or bones that might have gotten stuck or punctured anything, and the treatment would be the same. So I guess we just see how it goes. :(

Weims are big chested dogs, so "everything" doesn't fit in their bellies. The "gravel" was in the part of the intestines that's up under his rib cage so they couldn't feel it.

Now he's doubly ...... that Simon and Zach are getting fed and he isn't. This promises to be a fun filled day! :)

Woo Hoo!!!! Big day out FV! Enjoy your trip to the store. :)

Congrats on the atty usage cba, you've inspired me to give mine another try. I'm almost out of cake though. :(

I've had to use bear spray before. I was hiking with my mom's dog and ran into an adult male black bear. Most of them will either turn and run if sprayed in the face, or roll around on the ground holding their face.

Have yet to get that close to a Grizzly... Fingers crossed. Although surprisingly, moose are just as scary. Especially mothers with their babies. Scary stuff..

Thanks for the concern, FV. Actually, a hiker was found up in Yellowstone last month (I live about an hour's drive south of Yellowstone) and they have reason to believe a bear killed him. o.o

Hiker with a .50 cal, and its the bears body they would be finding. I'm just sayin'...
