Leaking can be caused by a few different things. A bad o-ring (can be replaced) or an out of round carto are the main two. A spitting carto can be overfilled, or on it's way to going out. Do you have backup until you get home?

I'm sure you will get more suggestions/ideas from the rest of the posse.

I don't think it is leaking from the o ring or the tank. It is leaking through the bottom of the carto and I am getting the spitting. I do have a backup until I get home, so no worries.

Thanks for the relpy.

Is it a prepunched carto? They do that if the inner tube is punctured. I've over punched before and that's what happens. It's why we designed our punch to not do that.

It's all about getting your get up an go. So, Diet Dr. Pepper works too.

Kind of weird, I did not see your answer to my tank question until I hit "Reply With Quote".
Not that weird. I posted before I realized that I meant to reply, so hit edit real quick. Im sneaky like that.

James, I feel bad about your boat troubles. :( *fingers crossed* that it can be repaired for a reasonable cost.
It just kills me I was SO CLOSE to getting the carpet laid down. But it wont be cheap if I take it anywhere. Im guessing about $2-3 THOUSAND to get it fixed by a pro. The good news is, is that after all of my research, Ive almost got myself convinced to do it on my own. And I have a coworker that doubles as a wood worker, so he MAY be able to help. As luck would have it, hes also the guy that originally owned the boat, so hes familiar with it.

Oh, nice burquas Drott! I see they come in GREEN for you and RED for me. I'll look like a barn, you can look like a tree.

Morning. A very very big big tree and I mean round not tall.

Have to tell ya James P but it sounds like there's a hole in the tube. Did the draw get tighter? Try blowing it out. Also carefully take a pater clip and run it up through the tub(through the bottom not never down through the top). Sometimes they clog. If the center tup collapses well then your screwed. always have spare cartos with you. M2C

Well it worked fantastic for 2 days and I probably put about 8ml through it. It just started the leaking and spitting this morning. It was a prepunched carto. I will probably be buying one of your punches in my next order though.

8 ml and two days is a good life span for a carto IMHO. See if Drotts ideas work, for me it would be time for a new one.

FVs punches are the best I've used.
