I'll check mine out tomorrow or Monday. Let you know. I haven't used mine with a high resistance atomizer yet.
Please do Snork so I can tell if thats what all Crowns do or if mine is defective...
3 taps + hold...10 beeps....Crown is set @ 10 watts
Here are my results with different atomizers:
0.8 ohm coil inline voltage reads 2.86 = 10.22 watts
1.5 ohm coil inline voltage reads 3.91 = 10.19 watts
3.0 ohm coil inline voltage reads 4.38 = 6.39 watts......... I tried two different brand new 3.0 ohm HH357 attys... same results... Even before I tested the voltage output I could tell something was wrong as the vapor was weak!
These are the first 3.0 ohms I have run on my Crowned ELA... The preveious 3.0 ohm coil was a month old and resistance had dropped to 2.3 ohms..
The strange thing is if you put the Crown in Variable Voltage mode set @ 5.5 volts and fire a 3.0 atty it delivers 5.4 volts under load which gives you a 9.72 watt
vape...So it does work with the high resistance 3.0 ohm
coils in VV mode....
