Did you find any information on where your Crown is?

No USPS said that # isn't an official tracking # and they don't necessarily have to scan it...It still shows in Scottsdale, Az. I am going to email Artisan vaping and see if they ever received it...... For all I know its lost! I had that happen once with some HH357 atomizers I ordered....Showed shipped from NY but never arrived...Avid Vaper replaced them 3 weeks later for free, needless to say the lost HHs showed up 5 weeks after shipping.... That was a win win for me as I got to keep the extra ones......

My latest email from Artisan vaping":
Nope, I haven't gotten anything from you yet.
My advice is be patient. I often send things to the U.S. and the tracking with USPS is not that current.
Often times it will appear to be sitting around for days and then suddenly be delivered. They don't
update the tracking in real time like FedEx or UPS does.

Hmmmmm, I hope thats the case, because I sent mine and I saw movement consistently. Maybe yours is in customs limbo.

On the details for the item, I said it was a electronic voltage regulator. I was going to say it was plumbing or something else , but figured they might xray it so didnt want to send any red flags.

Good news even though my Crown is in limbo somewhere John at Artisan vaping sent me an e-mail today-I had told him my troubles and asked him if he had seen the Kick2.....His response below:

If I don't get your Crown in the next couple of days, I'll send you out a new one anyway. I'm going on
holiday next week so I will make sure it gets out before I leave.
Yes, I have seen the Kick 2. What I find the most interesting is that the "most significant improvement" is
that they are using pogo pins for the ground. Too bad someone didn't think of that first! :) It still
uses the same old pot for adjustment, though, you think they would have done something about that.
Don't worry, I am going to be continuously updating the Crown. I don't like to talk too much about what
I'm working on, needless to say there will be some significant improvements coming down the pike in the next
few months.
Regards,
John Pinkney.
I give Artisan Vaping a....

I m soooo glad you wont be out all that money. Good things do come to good people:)

Its so nice and refreshing to see people who stand behind their products. Now i have to add Artisan to that list of people who stand behind their products. My list goes as follows, now this list wont have my dealings with everyday thngs from vendors who sent the wrong thing, or called me to clarify or help me out. This is for actual experience with me about a product they themselves produce and stood behind when they didnt have to.
,
Atmomixani and Kalafan , they came thru when the vendor would not, stood behind their creation.
Leo and Bishopheals when the vendor would not, stood behind their creation
Brandon of Evolv
John Pinkney of Artisan

Well, I got my Crowns today, one from Super-T and the other one came in from Canada. The one from Canada was the replacement for the "crushed" one.

I installed one and all seemed fine, then I noticed a high pitched but on the low side "whining" after a few seconds of firing the ELA. I thought dang, another twitchy one? So I popped in the other one , same thing. I placed a fresh battery and now its silent again. Is that a low battery signal? I know it makes all sorts of sounds not listed on the basic instructions, has anyone heard a sound like that? Other than that it seems to be fine, so far:)

I never heard a sustained whine!
Off the subject, when you use your Crown in the ELA, do you use the fuse or not?

I dont, tried it, but I like the fact that The Crown is shorter and takes up less space. I saw the instructional videos and I think if I used a PV with any sort of wiring I would, but since ELA is all mechanical, I dont really think its necessary. I think in the video it says that the Crown itself has some safety features in it also.

On my Saber , because its built around the KICK it would have leftover space so the safety fuse would be a must or battery would rattle and not fit tight.

BTW, after I put a fresh battery, I have not had any whining sounds.

I should have the one from SuperT tomorrow.... The one from Canada is on its way......

It went out yesterday. Unfortunately I don't have a tracking number (for some reason adding
tracking to regular post is super expensive in Canada), but keep a look out, it should be there
in about a week or so.
Let me know when you get it.
Regards,
John Pinkney.
How long did your Canadian one take to get?

Dag nabbit, one of the 2 just died. Man I have some bad luck. It started noticing vapour production dwindle and then changed the battery and again, low vapour and then it died. At this point I dont know which one it was, the one that came from SUper-T or from Artisan. Im going to contact David and see if he replaces it.

I am going to contact Artisan and tell them of my woes. I hope im not out another bit of money.
