I got one of the GP-SSR Resrvoir myself today. Looking forward to see how it works on my Darwin. I tried to get one from the other supplier but he's always out. Well was glad Good Prophet had them, I needed some more adaptors/tips and hehis prices are reasonable. Hopefully this works as well as everyone says on the Darwin.

Decided to toss a few thought out here, cuz tomorrow we'll all be on to another subject. I hope it works for you, andel. Do let us know when you get it and try it out!

Katdarling ( I am all new to this tank thing)is that a Mini tank and you are using a XL CE2 in it. I ordered a tank from Good Prophet and it states it will hold 4ml, so I assume it will hold a XL CE2. So I am assuming that Tank from Good Prophet will hold a XL CE2. Anyone have one from Good Prophet, would like to hear anyone who has one and what they are using in it.

Oh and that Drip Tip, have to take a look over at Drew's Tips, that looks good on your Mod.

The one in the pic is an XL, but the one I'm actually using is a mini (regular CE2). GP site states that one they sell is a regular, not an XL. "Uses a regular size CE2 to vaporize!"

I do really like Drew's drip tips. Pretty, functional, and just the right mouth feel.

Well, at least I had some vape mail today. Got in Drew's 3.5ml Big Gulp attys, iGos, HV Fluxomizers and some Nhaler juice. And, oh yeah, since I'm stuck I refuse to suffer alone. Behold my first impressions summaries.

3.5 Big Gulp Atty
I filled this, using a syringe, with a oft-vaped and relatively delicate flavor to see if there was any off taste and I haven't detected any. I set it aside for about 15 minutes while I filled the other vape vessels and put the tip back on. The opening is too big for my 801 Twisted, stainless or delrin 801 tips but the whistle tip isn't awfully annoying. Now, this is a testament to how much I trust Drew...I popped that joker on the Darwin and went to gas up the mom mobile. At 9.4 pixies the draw and flavor were good and by the time I got home there are still no dry spots in the carto. In fact, it looks like I'd just filled it. So far, so useable. I expected no throat hit because this is a low nic fruit flavor. and the flavor intensity is standard for vaping through fill. I'm going to use this one the rest of the evening and then try the other one but pretty sure already they're worthy of keeping on hand.

iGo
Tried this one with Drew's Asian Pear but kinda wish I'd gone with a familiar flavor because I can't tell if this is a light flavor or if the iGo is muting a flavor. The throat hit, for 10mg, is good. Either way I love the draw on this thing on both the Darwin and a high drain 18650 battery. Above 5.1 pixies I worry about burning but between the low 4's and there the vapor is warm though there isn't a lot of punch on the 18650. This one started sounding dry sooner than the Big Gulp but its a new carto, not broken in yet.

HV Fluxomizers
Once again I was foolish enough to use an unfamiliar flavor, High Octane Banana Laurel, so I can't really speak to how well these are wicking up flavor. I had the Darwin up to 9+ pixies and fired it up. The ohms reading was 3.9 which was impressive but the coil being so high meant it heated up like a lil 306 furnace and was too hot. Still ended up having to lower to 5ish pixies. The wick really is fatter which is interesting. Can't wait to get some stainless versions for when my tanks' CE2's need replacing.

The tanks from GP actually use standard size CE2's. Although I am not positive I believe that they are actually using clear CE2's with those. Instead of the CE2 being press fitted into a hole the one at GP gets threaded into an adapter that is permanently placed at the bottom of the tank. It does say on the site that are are regular size and not the XL.

Again, I really would recommend that you all look at Parallex2's mod. It will be infinitely more clear than I could be as to what this is all about. It's all about the fittings, Parma, yes, you're right. That's why I mentioned what I did earlier, in the hopes that what they use will function properly, and not leak.

Thanks for getting back to me Parma. OK I do have Reg Clear CE2's, I got from GotVapes. So these will fit in the GP tank right? I am slow so be patient with me, haha. I was just wondering because it said the GP Tank held 4ml, and I know the Clear CE2's I have Reg-o.9ml and XL-2.0, so I was thinking well maybe it will hold the XL. One more thing, I am assuming on the ones I have I can just remove the plastic tube and place the device in the Tank, is that right? Or do I need the ones that come from Clouds of Vapor that used in their Map Tanks. OK a lot of questions.

Thought it might be a good time to post the link to what I've been referring:

Wow! He had me til the 'grinding' part but I'm guessing a dremel (sp?)is a good doggone investment with this enormous price difference. I like the MAP tanks because of the Lexan. I have Storm tanks and Light-o-Mizers but I swear the softer hypo plastics warm up and lend a taste to the juice. I have absolutely no proof of this beyond my own weird impressions. If this bottle is a hard plastic and if I was stupid enough to think I had the patience to try it, I'd absolutely be laying out the supplies for this mod.

The clear CE2's you got from MadVapes should work just fine. According to what I see in the close Up pictures I have seen GP is using a 901 to 510 adapter that is permanently attached in the bottom of the tank (This is why these tanks are 901 native). They include a 901 to 510 adapter so that we can use them on 510 gear. Since there is an adapter attached into the bottom instead of us having to slide a CE2 in like on the MAP tanks the end result is that the standard CE2 sits up a good 1/4 inch higher in the tank. This is why it can hold 4 mils and still use the shorter CE2's. As for the installing of a new CE2, yes you can just remove the plastic tube and screw it right in. As long as these tanks don't have a leaking problem the design is actually pretty cool. No more having to cut down metal CE2's.

I have 2 full size MAP tanks that use the XL CE2's. So far I have not decided that I am in love with them. No matter how thin my juice is I simply can't get them to wick fast enough. I have tried making the slots for the wick larger as well as fraying the wicks. While this did help, it still doesn't wick fast enough for my vaping style. I did order one of the ones from GP today to see if it is any better. I will surely let ya'll know as soon as I get it and have a few to play with it how well it does.

Here's a pic of mine in an XL, but you can make them with a regular sized CE2 as well. That's what I've got... the mini version.

(Colored and Twisted Drip Tip, by Drew, at Nhaler. Yeah, that was a plug. :) )
Nice pic, and yes, I've seen the thread, and it is a cheap tank mod, but not quite what Good Prophet is offering. I think it could be adapted to be similar though.

The tanks from GP actually use standard size CE2's. Although I am not positive I believe that they are actually using clear CE2's with those. Yes, regular size CE2s, not the XL. And yes, that is what makes these different, in that the replacement CE2 is just screwed into the adapter that is permanently mounted in the bottom of the tank, just remember to move the o-ring to the new CE2, and you shouldn't have to worry about leaks. And it doesn't matter whether it's a clear or metal CE2, the innards are the same for both, it's just that the clear ones are easier to remove the tubing.

Thanks for getting back to me Parma. OK I do have Reg Clear CE2's, I got from GotVapes. So these will fit in the GP tank right? I am slow so be patient with me, haha. Yes, any CE2, including the Fluxomizer and Clearomizers, which are essentially branded CE2s.

The clear CE2's you got from MadVapes should work just fine. Yep, you have the right idea with these tanks from Good Prophets. I, too, would like to hear your thoughts.

Updates?? C'mon guys, I'm watching National Treasure for goodness' sake! And, y'know...a couple Darwinians in a bar surrounded by all that sketchy looking gadgetry probably just looks like two married people out for mischief...I hope your silence means your typing hands are full of vape equipment!

Before I go - added some drops to the Big Gulp and changed 18650 to high drain. NOW we're vapin'! iGo is fabulous - draw still great, great flavor and throat hit with this Asian Pear, which I can now taste. Takes a little longer to soak in (and half my sample bottle of juice is now gone) and then may need some more topping to be ready is all. Both heading out with me.

Thanks Parma and BigBopper for your post. I wonder why it said it could hold 4ml but needed just a Reg CE2 and not a XL CE2. This forum is great for people like me who need to be lead by the hand with these new vaping/mod devices. Well I am looking forward to getting my CP Tank from Good Prophet.
